Just in time for your Tree-Trimming fun and enjoyment...

These 10 "Flickering Lights" - apparently - come pre-tangled, right in the box!

Good morning Atty :) and @SilverBear , my "hunka hunka burning love"!!!!

I need to build Oreo and Sheba's alternate shelter today, and it's
snowing. They have the house/hut with the heating pad, but one
or the other keeps going into the gazebo and looking for the UN-
heated hideaway. I'll take a few pics to show what I mean.

The deck and yard are beyond saving (cleaning up) this season, I fear.
They're usually spotless and leaf-free. Makes me sick to look at it
and know what the Spring will bring.

Oreo (with Sheba on a chair in the gazebo, black blob) knowing something is up:

Before I do anything, the two gliders that will be used. Sheba, again as a blob, under
the birdbath (heated):

Old, but thick blankets put in place:

Second glider inverted. Creates a good-size area within for the cats:

I'm leaving it like that for a bit. Oreo and Sheba will be sure to return and check it out.
More "construction" to follow.

let's hope this 'inversion' won't spook them. cats are sometimes slow to adept but all you can do atm is wait and see ;)

morning, mr bear! :)
The end result (to follow) is what Oreo had Winter of 2015/2016. Even
though the heated hut/house came during Winter 2016/2017, he continued
to go up into the chairs quite a bit. ('16/'17 is when Sheba showed up, and
she just does whatever Oreo does.) So, this is nothing new to them.

This will be Winter #4 for him hanging around here, and #3 for Sheba.

So... anyway...

First goes on the very ill-fitting chair cover. It would be fine for ONE glider,
but not the 2, stacked and offset. It looks like there's some play left in it but
it's as far as it will go. I SHOULD just bet a larger cover, even if it's made for
another use. Note the "entry" opening.

This is as good as it's going to get until I replace the four bungee cords that rotted over
the Summer. This is the general idea. And, again, I SHOULD get 1 or two HUGE
moving blankets and not have to mess around with all the other junk. OR... Oreo and
Sheba COULD simply come into the house. The gap will get closed up once they get
used to ducking under the cover to access their space.

Certainly not perfect, but they use it and it's better than them having nothing at all.
Or... they could use their hut/house.

The End.
