Just finished putting together a meaty loaf (its main ingredient
was brought into the house, blindsiding me from being sure we
had everything in stock
). OK... it will not have fresh
chopped onions or diced green pepper or celery minces. (See,
that's the difference between MY shopping and somebody else's.)
Anyway, it appears to be a happy loaf and will serve its purpose.
W/ mashies. And w/ peas. And w/ green salad.
I'm tellin' ya.

Neighbor/customer from down the hill pulled in and brought me 2 bags of food so I am now having some Curry Chicken which I've never had before. I like it. Also rolls ,french fries and 2 cups of soup. It's enough to feed 4 people so it will last me a minute. Nice folks in these parts.
How nice! Good neighbors! Enjoy your food. Curry chicken sounds good. We're having smoked sausage with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. My favorite (next to wiener schnitzel) rainy day dinner. And Pilsner.

Was going to ask Tibs the best way to season it. I even saw one recipe with a sour cream & dill sauce made from pan drippings deglazed with chicken stock.
