For all I know she only sneezed. She didn't SAY a cold was coming on....

Vile and nasty on this side of the state too. 50-ish, raining, with a strong wind from the north.
But I still refuse to put on long pants or shoes.
I've said this before: When I was smoking, I used to get colds several times a year and they'd inevitably crawl into my chest.
Since I've switched to vaping a bit over five years ago, I've had precisely one cold, and it did not go into my chest. I caught that one at a trade show in Germany last September. Five days of standing in a booth, shaking hands with dozens of people a day makes for substantial exposure. I felt it coming before I left, but it only really hit me on the flight home. Nine hours on a plane at 0.1% relative humidity didn't help at all.
Well, am I glad this week is over!!!!
Daughter left last Monday, but while she was here, we spent a lot of time at Vinny's with the 5 grandchildren. So Sunday, as usual, we all spent the day together. We'd been spending all week with them prior to that helping dil since she had her surgery.
Little did we know on Monday, all 5 grandkids came down with the flu and I caught it.......they are on the mend now, as well as myself, and except for a few sniffles now and then,I've been good. Did get the flu back in '02, but this time it wasn't as bad, but bad enough for me to utter a few choice words..dh didn't get it!
Have been lurking a lil bit, but haven't felt like posting till now.
It's raining here at 53o and I can't wait till the sun shines again so I can get me some natural Vit. D.
