I was up at 3:30.Gave going back to sleep a shot,didn't work all that great but I did finally get a bit of snooze.Good morning Fran and Tibs

Good morning snails. Busy day ahead.
Went to bed early. Power went off again at 9:30, and that kept me awake worrying that I was going to have to hook up the generator again, but it came on at 11:30. So then I got to sleep, and then large trucks (fire trucks?) were busy checking out next door under a large tree in front of an empty lot. Maybe power there too. IDK. But damn big desel truck woke me up again at 1:30. Managed to get back to sleep again, and slept until about 8:45. So I guess I'm ready to tackle the day.
Laundry...big time. Limb clean up. Showers. Mom's taxes. Oi.

It does indeed. The lines are deeper here, for that reason. Many in more rural areas are on wells and septic though.if it gets in the teens we get plenty of frozen pipes here
