    Yes, and I never HEARD of "ported" until today. (Miss Smarty Pants who knows what ported means!!!!) Still not sure what it means, but I think it's basically keeping the same number. And that's if the stupid cable company LETS me. The new company checked and said I could keep it, provided the cable company allowed it.

    I was told that your phone number is YOUR property, and It is your right to keep it. It is not their number, it is yours.

    I was told that your phone number is YOUR property, and It is your right to keep it. It is not their number, it is yours.
    that is also my understanding, kat. especially if that was your number when you switched from your landline to cable voip ;)
