Good thought for your brother,KatMy niece told me that Ron has not looked right the past few days. They are packing him up to move in with a cousin, so, luckily, people were around when he started to feel worse. He is a never smoker, but our biological father died from severe heart disease. Died in his sleep. That's the way to go, IMHO. My brother has NEVER been afraid. He almost died in '85 from a horrible ATV accident, survived that (barely), but has had severe back and left leg problems since. His Parkinson's sure doesn't help, either. I want to be with him, but they don't want me there.....

Just got a call that my nephew took my brother to the ER. Will be waiting eagerly to hear something more. Can't drive in the dark, plus nephew doesn't want anyone there right now. So good thoughts are welcomed....My brother is afraid, and he is NEVER afraid. Just got another call, keeping him....possible heart or lung problems..

Good morning Tibs and Frannie
As of 11 last night, they were still waiting on a room for my brother. Have not heard anything else. It's a long and twisted story, but, since my mom passed, the family shut me out. To this day, I can't tell you why. I have always adored my brother and we reunited about 5 or 6 years ago and I've always remained extremely close to his oldest daughter. He has one other daughter and 2 sons, who I love VERY much, but don't speak to me. And I mean I have not a SINGLE clue as to why. I adore those kids. Have never met THEIR kids, either. So, it's a sticky situation and I don't want to cause my brother more anxiety. Or the kids, for that matter... Ron has been telling me that he is going to tell the kids that we see each other, but, with his Parkinson's, he stresses so easily, I don't think he's been able. It's sad all the way around. I really miss those kids, I helped raise the 2 oldest girls, and I'm sad that I've never gotten to meet the grandkids and a few great grandkids.
