Yeah,I've lived in the woods most all my life.............. It appears my Chrome is up to date.i'm surrounded by 20 acres of woodsand going to the barn to feed geoff gets me in the thick of it
surprised atty has not sounded the warning bell - the man is slacking:
Serious Chrome zero-day – Google says update “right this minute”
Every 4 weeks like clockwork!i'm off to get reggie's ears lowered - i told him nothing to worry about, uncle bear gets it done on a regular basis!![]()
Good morning KC.
How's the recovery going?
It "Tool Talk Time" w/ @AttyPops . (Fear not, I'll stay in your lane, Atty.) ()
Job to be done:
EASILY and EFFICIENTLY reset deck floor nails.
Have tried:
Plain old hammer. Results: LOTS of pounding which causes VERY little movement of the
nails, plus errant surrounding divots.
Hammer with a "nail set". Results: Bent nail sets and "shock" up through the hammer.
Nail set divots.
Thinking:
Some kind of pneumatic hammer. Searching turns up jackhammers and the like. MAYBE
that's what's needed, but I was thinking something that sends single whams at a time.
What should I be looking for to do the job? Hire it out? (By the time I rent, set things up,
work hastily within the rental time limit, take things apart and return the rental, maybe
just having some big hairy brute come out and do it would be best.) (Gonna be 63,
remember.)

!!! ***THAT*** !!! is a hire-it-out.I would suggest removal of said nails and replace with decking screws. If later on said screws rise above deck height just screw them in a bit further.
Just my![]()

We'll just ignore that Saturday 10 days out, since it's probably wrong anyway (ask Bear). And Mondays don't count, because they're Mondays.
