And a "Fine Thursday" to all.
We were without internet (again!) 08mar
through 11mar. And I'm NOT about to
attempt using the STUPID "smart"phone for any kind of internet activity... it of the
1/8 inch buttons when my fingers are pudgy and sausage-like... and the stylus makes
me want to scream.
Dad had his pacemaker replaced on Monday, along with both leads that go to the heart.
Actually, they were not replaced... two new ones were added. And since the pacemaker
provides LIFE to him (it's not a just-in-case thing... he requires it to keep the heart
going), they had to run wires from his thigh up to the heart to maintain power. So...
the added complexity meant he had to stay overnight. Much to HIS wrath, much to MY
relief.
But, he's back at the apartment and settling back in.
I've accomplished zero on the domestic and errand lists, so will start catching up today.
In reading back, I see much discussion on the time change... again.

WE changed our
clocks Friday night, and were operating on DST Saturday. If it matters, put me in the camp
to leave it as it is NOW.
In reading back, I see nobody mentioned the latest
BOMB CYCLONE.
And in the news, I see we have ANOTHER new buzz-phrase: "Dangling Pardon". When does
this kind of stuff just STOP, already? "Dangling Pardon". Really!!! Reminds me of "Hanging
Chad" from a few years back. (I know him, by the way.)
I better get going and start crossing things off the to-do lists. So, please
pardon my
dangle
while I step away for a bit.
Back later!
