Good morning Bear when you get back ;)
I am back! And Good Morning to you and all! :)

Car washed. Picked up a large salmon fillet, some fresh asparagus, cheated with bagged
salad mix... and I'll whip up a quick bearnaise to go over the salmon. :)

Let's see... what else...

Hubs finishing up week 1 of new job training. He accepted the offer (same company, new
project/client) ONLY to keep his years (10 this July) and health coverage. It's a significant
cut in pay. There supposedly will be a better opening in May and he wants to stick around
to see if he is able to land in that one. But until then, he'll continue to be a bundle of nerves
and anxiety about the loss in pay. (To me, that's good. It will spur him into giving the upcoming
opening his all when it comes time for interviews.)

..........

Speaking of hubs, Happy 25th Anniversary to us this past Wednesday.

..........

A few weeks ago after one of the numerous windstorms, something must have landed on the
driver side windshield wiper. When I turned it on ... S C R A T C H ... in a perfect arc and
directly at eye level. It is *ALL* I see now when driving. It's deep enough where I can feel it
with a fingernail... so it's pretty much beyond a buffing repair. I'll be taking the car to a glass
place and see if it qualifies for an insurance replacement. (There is also a very small chip/
crack elsewhere.)

..........

A long-time friend, 72 years old, just simply and unexpectedly passed on in his sleep this past
week. Just up and left. There will be a very short visitation tomorrow (only 30 minutes) and
then a quick service. He and his partner were together for 28 years.

This goes to show 2 things: do NOT count on a "tomorrow". Also, and this for you and you and
you who do not have things in place re: will, final wishes and all that good stuff. Get it DONE,
like, YESTERDAY. And be sure somebody knows where all that "stuff" is.

Happy Anniversary to you and hubs,Bear:)

Very sorry about your friend:( You really never know.
    TY re: anniversary.

And re: "you never know"... right NEXT to somebody! Go to sleep and in the morning
the other person is just gone. And without any kind of signal something was wrong or
happening. Can't even imagine. (Don't know if any cause of death has been determined.)

OK, OK... I admit it! I'm not proud, but... I did look at the sleazy frozen "seafood"
only to gawk at "The Gorton's Fisherman". Yes, I admit it.

He's aged well, I'll give him that. But still think his younger persona was better:
