And a Good Monday Morning to everybody!

Rainy AM here, so it'll be indoor stuff until later this afternoon. Tuesday-Thursday
all have interruptions in the workflow, so I'll need to plan around those.

( Tibs, if you want to cheer me up, post pics of "you know who". ;) )

Chore break! :)

I was thinking... since this heart stuff has suddenly become of great importance...

Would there be benefit in getting one of those "FitBit"-like wearable things? I
certainly do NOT understand how they measure some things like BP or oxygen.
I mean, BP has always been taken with the inflatable cuff thing (mmmm! feels
SO good!!!) and oxygen with a Gila Monster mouth clamp thingy on the end of
a finger.

Anybody have any experience with them?

I had thought of getting a FitBit, but decided against it simply cause it was another device...dh had one and he and it did not get along....too hot on his wrist. His activity level is high, so he's not concerned with stats.
My phone gives me all the info I need... heart rate, stress level, steps, and some other lil tidbits. If I need to take my B/P for doctor's monitoring, then I use my wrist Omron which was calibrated with the cuff method at my doc's office.

They're giving me some kind of wearable BP thing on Thursday for 24 hours.
I am GUESSING an auto-wrist... and I'm GUESSING that every time it
tourniquets the life out of me, I'll have to stop and write down what I was
doing and how I feel.

EG:
"I was doing housework :),
then the wrist thing inflated o_O,
then I fainted .
I feel bad now :(
because my head hit the sharp corner of an end table on the way down :w00t:."

Afternoon/evening to all. What a cold miserable day today. It was warmer early morning. Dropped to 30 and had a bit of everything. Rain, sleet and snow and just plain frozen. I think it took me 2 hours to get the chill out of my bones after a wee shopping trip.
