Dad wanted a pie (yesterday's shopping) and Wegmans has... (now YOU figureno worries, bear! sooner or later you will adjust ................ somehow
this out)... a 10" apple pie for $6, but their 8" apple pie is $13. It's always
been like that, not just a misprint or sale (they do not have "sales"). Oh and
by the way, you will find their pie selection (flavors) VERY limited.
Anyway... a 10" pie does not fit flat in the bottom of their reusable bags.
I mentioned to the cashier: "Hmmm... they fit FINE in the old plastic bags".
Then, in her passive-aggressive response, she was going to turn it to vertical
and place it diagonally in the bag. I interrupted and asked for a produce/meat
plastic bag (which they still have). Flimsy, no handle, but it fit.
How's THAT for adjusting?!
...and, no... I did not get cheese to go with the apple pie. All cheese "binds" him.

Megan had to be at the hospital at 4 yesterday afternoon at which time they started giving her the pills to induce labor. She was a small bit dilated by last night and there is a chance the baby might come today.

We all here enjoyed S/B last night......had a bunch of good snacks and hubby made (of all things) a big pot of pea soup.....no one had any! Guess what we're having for dinner tonight! We just ate the fried chicken cutlet cut into strips for dipping with some other goodies.
And, our team won!!!!
