morning, mr bear! fingers crossed you find the problem's cause :(
Every Winter, the GFI will trip at some point. OR... it's just simply so cold that
the heater(s) cannot keep up. The birdbath will freeze over (on the top).
That's what I found... frozen crust, liquid under. Cat bowl, too.

34 tomorrow. All will be well.

When you unplug them, and reset the GFI, does it trip or stay reset?
Stays reset. "Something" just happens to trip it, in Winter. Never does
it during nicer weather. Been that way for decades, literally. House and
deck still standing, unscorched.
