Groan. Record them on a delay, and then edit/compress as necessary to make it fit in the time slot. What is this, the 20th century? I think not.

I "stand" that self-checkout is an OPTION and nobody is pressing a gun to my temple
forcing me to use it. I actually LIKE (gasp!) self-checkout... if that's what you want
to know.

Not by me.

I have been bringing my own bags for ever. Old habits. In Europe, they not only charge you extra for plastic shopping bags, but there's also a sales tax on food. Just saying.

It's a NY, CA and HI thing... plus some individual counties/towns/cities. You will
KNOW when it hits your area. Oh the HUE and CRY!!!

One of the few things that CA is doing right. And most grocery stores here will recycle plastic bags for you (those little produce bags that are still available for free and any other plastic bags). Or at least I hope they recycle them. Plastic bags are a huge source of plastic pollution of our planet and cause countless deaths of innocent animals.

Seriously, I've been trying to get rid of most plastics in my life--and those that I can't avoid, I recycle.

Sorry about the rant, I just hate plastics. Sooner rather than later, I hope, someone will finally invent a biodegradable alternative to all those disgusting plastics.

I like it with sliced radishes or chopped chives and a bit of sea salt--on a bagel. And/or a slice of smoked salmon.
