Of course it probably won't work if he installs the wrong cable....

47 ain't gonna melt this. Not in a day anyway. 44 tomorrowwon't last all that long if your forecast of 47 degrees holds![]()
Good morning Dale.
Welcome to the continuing saga of "As the internet Churns"...so are the days of Bear's life.
P.S.

Good morning FranMorning, dale![]()
NO contract.Who cares?
Bear should have the better package anyway.
But bundle is probably the best way to go price wise, and the employer is only going to be paying for two months worth. And installation is probably free with the one-year contract. So they could work out a deal with the employer, or cost diff, for two months of "incentive" to get it installed.
Oh for frack sake. For 45 more bucks you get TV.NO contract.
Installation: $49.99
Monthly cost $54.99
"Two months", huh? I hope you're RIGHT (cuz' the "too much time together" thing).
Check the maxes, in the agreement. Maybe max of 3 drops without extra charges or whatever.
Ethernet to 2 PCs, main TV in living room, kitchen, already in place 'cuz DSL modem. And unless you use WiFi, have him disable WiFi and put the cable-modem in the office, run an Ethernet line to the computer.
It's the plan.Dump the dish.
My ONLY concern is getting local channels. When we (all) were forced to goOK, so you're going to "cut the cord" (by installing a cord, that's how it works...lol)
OK, fine.
I use Roku. Like it.
There's several other services too, like Hulu and other TV services that will give you major networks too.
just concentrate on the benefit! you can drop dsl and, hopefully, will no longer be irritated by those pitiful download speeds! It's the plan.
Then "go Roku" or whatever smart box HE deems best for our use. I wipe my
hands of this.
UGH.

with billy being one of bear's alltime favoritesHow DARE the two of you think Billy is "funny"?!?!![]()
