So, I usually buy a bottle of Pete's hot sauce (12oz. for $1.88), and pour it out and use the bottle for my hot sauce. I thought... maybe I could find empty hot sauce style bottles and use them instead. This way I wouldn't be wasting "food." Nope! It won't work. 12, 12oz. empty hot sauce style bottles work out to $1.83 each. Plus these empty bottles don't have the little plastic insert in the top to stop the hot sauce from pouring out--you have to shake it out with the plastic inserts.

not surprising - unless you buy large quantities small glass bottles are rather expensive. hence those bottle co-ops from years ago ;)

It's still crazy I can buy a glass bottle filled with hot sauce for the same price I can buy a empty bottle. Yeah, I get it, but it still doesn[t make sense.

back to my defensive driving course. This defensive driving course could drive me to road rage.

Good Morning, Snails!

FWIW, I turned 70 back in March. I'm still doing a 6 mile stationary bike ride several times a week, along with a couple of sets of bicep curls, dead lifts, and tricep extensions with the same weight on the curl bar. 70 isn't nearly what I thought it would be. Use it or Lose it is a real thing, IMO. As a wise person once said, If you sit down too much, you will die an earlier death!
