enjoy! but forget about that turkey bacon

morning, frannie! :)

Yeah, whatever. I know... I had real bacon last wknd for the first time in months and it was so, so good. I'm thinking sage sausage this wknd with freshly made butter biscuits. That reminds me when I was a kid and we spent Christmas with my grandparents (dad's side). Grand Pa Pepper :D would fry up some sage sausage and then make a roux from the pan drippings and then gravy to pour over freshly made biscuits on Christmas morning--of course, after all the presents were opened.;)

    Good morning snails.

Three days and I already transplanted two lettuce seedlings this morning. Force to grow my own lettuce haven't seen any in stores in weeks.

Doing laundry first load in dryer.
Smart move. Lettuce prices are ridiculous. I grow my own mixed leaves lettuce. They taste FAR better than that bought in a store!

easiest thing in the world - why won't you fix it for yourself? naturally, my preference is sausage gravy so i leave the crumbled sausage (with sage ;) ) in the pan

but that's the hard way and ends up with less taste ;) crumble the sausage and fry (iron skillet). sprinkle flour directly over sausage crumbles and stir till flour is absorbed and has the color you want ~ 2 minutes or so. now i use milk but you might be going with water? anyhow, this infuses more flavor in the roux

that's what I do and I use milk. stop picking on the pepper. he's only one person and he's trying to please many; and with that, he's sometimes rushed and isn't able to put things in the perfect sequence as YOU (limp wrist tibby).:D

well, then learn how to properly express yourself! what does it imply when you 'crumble the sausage in the roux'? :?:
