i think southern central virginia is in the clear now - most of the storms passed before the temps crashed!
woke up to snow this morning after one hell of a night. we went to vinnie's last night and had one heck of a meal. an 8oz veal chop wrapped in proscuitto ham and sage with a marsala sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and caeser salad and bread--and of course wine and more wine. it amazes me 2 people could spend $250 at the bar eating and drinking. But it was fun. went to the crow and quill. i'll share pics and thoughts on that later, but it was wild. we also went to the Cut (bar) to finish the night out.

Woke-up earlier hearing a a voice saying the worst is yet to come. It was so horrific am not going into the details other than saying it is not going to be a world war event more of the effects of Russia collapsing again. 
Kind of makes sense. If the world won't do trade/business and they have no money - why spend money or waste resources that Russia has on someone else.

thanks, dale. 7 of us are going out tonight to this awesome seafood restaurant to celebrate one of my nephew's birthday. i can only imagine how many dozens of oysters we'll eat tonight. hope ur having a great day, and almost all of the rest of u people, too.

I ran a pharmacy errand and stopped at Arby's and got a large curly fry and some sandwiches. Almost forgot the curly fries...but then...I realized that Tibs would give me an ear-full for skipping those! Glad I got em.
