Good night Atty and Pepper :)

Heather’s youngest Dd tested positive for Covid. Her teacher tested positive on Friday.
‘Oh no Fran! Sorry to hear that :( Hope she only has mild symptoms.
    Good night.

    :?: did atty oversleep?
    Nope. Have the day off.

Since the car had problems, I took today off "just in case". Besides, next Monday is a holiday. So that gives me two 3-day weekends in a row. Good for my mental/physical health.

    Good morning Tibby, snails :)

Good morning Tibs and Atty :)

Probably but he’s gonna need it tomorrow. ;)
It's the heater core (pretty sure, will test more today) so...

I have the summer to deal with it.

I think I'll fix up mom's car first...that gives me a 2nd car. The money I save fixing the jeep myself (have to pull out most of the dash to replace the heater core) will fix mom's Buick. Then I'll have two cars.

    P.S.

It's all either a scam, and/or it's due to efficiencies of manufacturing...
but there's zero reason in my mind to design cars (most all of them) such that you have to pull the whole dang dash off to change the heater core & evaporator core. "They" want over a grand to do it. It's less than 100 bucks in parts. I've seen people quote dealers charging $1,500 dollars. IDK the real cost, haven't called the dealer, but it won't be cheap with all that labor.

It could all be designed MUCH better. But it isn't....
