Just put supper in the oven, some sort of Italian sausage, fettuccine bake thing. There’s some roast pork loin if we don’t like it

And now, today:
September 12, 2022

Squirrels chewing landline wires up on the pole
cutting off landline service.

Apparently, there is no technology or hardware
available on the face of the planet which will keep
squirrels (or other pole-dwelling) wildlife OUT of
the junction box. It does not exist. The squirrels
have won.

Let's add September 20, 2022 to the list.

And this time, an 8-day wait for technician.

Last fix lasted an entire 6 days.

Oh, and forgot...

Washing machine... drum locked up on Saturday and
threw an "E59" error. Well, the thing is over 11 years
old and first real problem. (And I looked it up and I know
what to check.)

However... it's on an extended warranty/service plan,
so it must be repaired by an "authorized" person. First
available date: October 6th.

OK... not a life-or-death emergency, laundromats and all.
Nor is it a fridge with spoiling food. But yeah... SEVENTEEN
DAYS for a service call. Plus, if a part is needed that they do
not have in stock, that adds who knows how much more
time.

Grrr.
