Going to a revival service at the old deaf church tonight. Haven’t been there in years, hopefully I’ll see some old friends although most of the people I socialized with have died.

Going to a revival service at the old deaf church tonight. Haven’t been there in years, hopefully I’ll see some old friends although most of the people I socialized with have died.
It's what happens when you get old: your "old" friends die. The good part about that is you are able to recognize that because you're still living.
p.s. I live in a 55 and older community. I didn't consider the fact that the longer I'm here in this community, the more people I see dying. It's not un-normal to see an ambulance weekly. I don't think I would make the same choice again. I really love seeing kids playing in the neighborhood and riding their bikes and stuff.

Polish Sausage ring (with mustard) and eggs/toast for breakfast.
Lol. It's a weird tradition my family started somehow. A sweet Italian sausage or something like that would be more of a "breakfast sausage" than Polish Sausage/Kielbasa (American naming/version). But we use the "Polish Sausage" ring. Scramble up a bunch of eggs. And plenty of buttered toast. It's a protein overload, for sure. I'm remembering my Mom/Brother and I think Dad might have done this too. At any rate, he liked Kielbasa. You'd think we'd add some fruit or a slice of tomato or something. Maybe I'll "grill" a tomato slice to go with it. But mostly just keep it simple. On this Easter Day I give thanks for the salvation of all mankind, here or passed, and I remember those I've been separated from. Channeling relatives via food. lol
