    Us too Fran.

    Good evening everyone
    :)

Hot and humid here, had a gully washer this afternoon. DH got hailed on coming home from the north.

We processed a beef today that dressed out at 995 pounds, that was a big boy!
That sure was a big boy.

Yes he was, loads of ground beef made from it too.

    Ham and cheese.

Hope you stayed cool, Dale. I assume processing floors are cool not hot due to it being meat, but IDK.
    Goodnight snails.
We try to keep it cool but standing in front of the vacuum sealer gets pretty warm as that machine puts out a lot of heat. And it’s not in the room with the air conditioner.

Just popping in to say hello. I'm doing okay. Heat wave headed this way that I'm not looking forward to, but enjoying the decent weather right now. Lots of rain between sunshine, but not super hot, and my deck is covered, so I can sit out there and watch the little critters and birds and read my books.
I feed the ground hogs, as we've all taken away their habitat, but this year, I have 5 pups. I've never had more than 2. It must have been a fertile year underground. Don't mind feeding them, but no way will I be able to feed 5 adults, PLUS they fight each other for food. I don't want them to starve, but not sure what to do once the pups are a little bigger. Suggestions? But not nasty ones...lol...

Hope to be in and out a little more often. Trying to spend less time online and more time in real life.

    Hugs to all!

    Hang in there Dale.

Kat, in my area/state, it's illegal to relocate woodchucks yourself, but you can...uhmmm....shoot them...as nuisance pests. Not saying you asked for that, just noting the laws. Like Dale said, you'll need an agency/specialist to relocate them. The reason is that if you relocate them somewhere, they just become "someone else's problem" and burrow under houses and other things and damage foundations and such. They're tremendous diggers, and they're big. If they're under a tree or something, fine. But if they're under your home, get them moved before it sinks. :2c:
