The other half of the sheetrock is going up on the ceiling tomorrow and the freezer is going out on the deck.That's all for tomorrow cause hubby has garage work. A friend is coming up this weekend to do the mudding, taping and sanding. Once that's all done we can paint and get the lights up.
Sounds good, Fran. Originally I had tiles in the kitchen, but they were replaced with sheet rock some years ago.
Ugh, tell me about it. I have stopped doing a lot of things that I used to do, when I was younger. 
The kitchen is a difficult room, because it's a room, that no one can live without. Not even for a short while.
Well we will be. When we're ready to put the floor down everything has to go.
I have done that too. Now, I have a Pergo floor, in the kitchen, so that won't have to be done again........I hope.

Beware of floods. I had Pergo in the downstairs bathroom, in our previous house. A pipe broke--the Pergo was toast.
