So sorry about your tree, Mad. But I'm glad you're OK. When are you going back to work? How's your leg?

Thanks tweety! My medical leave ends on 12/27 and I'm expected to be back at work on 12/30. My Dr. said that at my next appointment (12/5), we'd discuss me getting the required letter allowing me to return to work. I think all the bone stuff is fine, so now the focus is on whatever ligament damage exists. Fingers crossed an MRI is scheduled on 12/5 and I won't need any other surgeries!

glad no other damage was done, mad! and all is well except for the clean-up ;)

Thankfully, the area in which the tree was planted is the responsibility of my city's parks dept.! No clean-up for me! :thumb: (not that I could right now if I tried, lol)

Afternoon, snails! /wave

Tell me about it. I'll be cleaning and moving stuff around for a long time to come....

Good afternoon Snail People! I'm glad that everybody is fine.

Love the pictures of Badger and Max. :)

Happy Monday!

Well, just as we were deciding the that cousin was going to stay at MY place because it's easier to navigate...supposedly...the power came on (about 5:00 pm eastern). So I hauled his stuff back upstairs (via elevator) and hightailed the heck out of there.

Previously packed up his freezer, took him to lunch, took him shopping to kill time, too him back and poof, power came on. So...so much for that. Driving around town and lunch and at least 5 to 10 wheelchair/car swaps and done.

Gets draining, but I was glad to help him out. We're all glad the power came on....as I don't have ramps to the house.

Stone, this is not a hospital..."just" a retirement place. IDK why there isn't a generator to run elevators and such during outages.

Hi snails.
