I have moved around a lot.

So, I've been an art therapist for 25 years or so. I still do it part time - in fact that's the job i go to at 7:30 am every freaking Saturday. It's an outpatient treatment center for women with eating disorders. The get there at about 8am and have breakfast, then i run a group, and sometimes see an individual client.

(And i think you know that my primary job and second career is neuroscience research. )

(Tibs, i only lived in Indiana for a few months i think, way before i could form any coherent memories, i think we lived in Illinois after that, before we moved to Michigan)

Okay - off for the day! Gotta get to the bank, get Mabon spruced up for adoptions, and help Santa with the kittens and puppies for pics. Gosh, I hope those dogs are all bathed. Nothing worse than a stinky dog.

That is good of you to do that. I wondered why you hadn't mentioned your art in your ten facts list.

that looks like a happy, wet, beastie

Have a good day Sun, and good luck with the adoptions. You have no idea how much i respect how much time, love, money and energy you put into rescues.

Aw... thanks CES. I love the animals and just want to help where I can.

10. I've never seen 10 lords-a-leaping
9. I have seen 9 ladies dancing.
8. We seldom have 8 maids-a-milking anymore since it's done by machine now or in small farms of less than 8 maids.
7. I may have actually seen 7 swans-a-swimming in a bevy...when you count the Pen, Cob, and 5 cygnets. Not sure about the 5 kiddies though.
6. I've seen WAY too many geese. Canadian types. (Sorry Canada. Nothing personal. But you can keep the geese.) IDK if I've seen them laying though. It's kinda private.
5. Yes, I've been in a jewelry store.
4. Four colly/calling birds....black birds....Seen em. Yep. However, on a side note, not baked in a pie. Besides, that takes 20 more.
3. I've probably eaten 3 french hens
2. Turtle Doves....best I can do are local pigeons and/or doves in shops.
1. Now, the really tough one. It's a combo. Partridge AND pear-tree. Sigh. I've seen a pear tree. I've seen pictures of a partridge. But I'm pretty sure I've not seen a partridge in pear tree. Not a living, real partridge. Sad.
