Besides, I got some silica rope from McMaster-Carr well over a year ago that I still haven't used up 
(and most likely won't ever use up).

The guys are off and running for floor tile,wall tile and such plus oxygen for hubby's cutting torch. I'm putting tile just between the upper and lower cabinets. Pain in the tush to paint between them.

like the look of tiles for splash board but would hate to clean the grout in between tiles behind the stove - i'm not always the neatest chef
Supposed to be delivered between 1-5PM today. Got around 5 recorded messages from HD yesterday telling me that.
I need new cutting boards. I have new ones but they're all huge. Looking at a set of bamboo ones. Anybody know anything about them?
What i'd like to do is enclose my current deck, make it into a greenhouse, and build a new extended deck. If i did that I'd redo the kitchen and and a door directly to the new deck- that's when I'd tile. Probably turn a closet in a different room into a second bathroom while I'm at it. Gonna need to save for another couple of years to be able to do any of it. sigh.
