i've got a black clone. i like it. nice deep juice well and good flavor. major cons i had were the stock post-holes were terrible to build on with dual coils. but it came with extra posts that have vertical slots for your wires to slide into rather than the horizontal slots that were a pain. the other con i have is the topcap is super loose. it needs better o-rings. takes very little to no effort to take the cap off. this is probably just an issue with the clone however. afterall, it was like $11. and for that price, it's very acceptable.

Decided to go with the original posts as I am using it in a single coil mode. The flavour is truly outstanding.
I also have the standard ones, I got it direct from EdenMods and currently they do not have the velocity style ones in stock when I try to order them. Like you been going for the single coil option, I actually prefer single coil in most of my RDAs but I still wanted to try get a dual in there and see what it was like, made a total mess of it though, those things are a serious pain for dual.

the other con i have is the topcap is super loose. it needs better o-rings. takes very little to no effort to take the cap off. this is probably just an issue with the clone however.
As above, agree the horizontal slots are a total pain for dual, really easy for single though and single is pretty good on it. The authentic I received didn't come with vertical slotted posts just the horizontal ones but the top cap fits perfect so I think you are right that it is more to do with the clone. As you say at $11 that is still pretty decent, no doubt it is still a pretty sweet little flavour machine :)

yessir. it still vapes very nicely! holds a fair amount of juice and provides a nice semi restrictive lung hit.

I just received my first Snapdragon 1.5 yesterday. It's pretty awesome. I just ordered the Velocity style posts for it this morning. Running it single coil right now on one of my Vegas.

I just ordered one today

Didn't order the velocity style posts though. Would love to see a pic on a duel on the original deck :thumb:

I gave up on trying to run dual coils on the stock deck. Hence, the order of the Velocity posts! Should make a terrific RDA even better.

Excellent choice :) I tried to duels a couple of times but they were always a bit of a mess. The good news is it rocks the single coil exceptionally well :) I'm still tempted to pick up the velocity style posts though, I just don't seem to be catching them in stock.

Thanks Mindriot - I'll probably try the singles as you say for a bit and then order the velocity at a later point. Thanks again for your replies :)

I've been eyeballing this one for a couple weeks now on VapinArt and finally gave in to the inevitable. My two other RDAs consist of a Hobo v3.1 and an Origen v3 Dripper. While I like them both, every time I have to rebuild the Hobo I want to toss it out the window because its tight tolerances are so annoying.

To my surprise the SnapDragon just blows them both out of the water. Single coil build (what I want), is very easy and the airflow is great in its MTL configuration. It's not even leaking a bit of juice when you take the top cap on and off like my other two. Flavor is better than the Hobo, and its easier to build on than the Origen. Airflow ring works great and its buttery smooth to operate.

Very happy with this one.

Hey RabbiXX

I see you are rocking the snappy with a dicodes  my Dicodes and Snappy should arrive today with a bit of luck. What builds and setting are you enjoying the most?

It is a simple setup: single Ti coil, 7 spaced wraps, 26awg, and 3.0ID with just enough cotton to reach the bottom of the deck.

Dicodes on temp control @235C and 20watts w/ built in Ti profile.

I do have some more wire coming in soon, and I'm going to try and build a small Ti clapton coil (28/32). Some rayon coming in too, and it will be first time trying that.

Thanks for that!

As luck would have it, Ti is the only wire I didn't end up getting as the supplier was out of stock LOL. Please keep me posted with your findings as I am new to dripper and TC :)

I do have some rayon, but as yet haven't tried it...
