A bit of my collection of snuffs. Since moving away from vaping so much do to the tinkering and ongoing costs with equipment juice etc. I have focused more on snuffs.

I will take this a blocks since avid collectors get a giant collection going.

First on the chopping block if you will some american scotches. These are fine ground almost powdery dry snuffs and not overly friendly to beginners.

Rooster by us smokeless.. OMG this is going to be a love it or loathe it and at times I loathe it and love it all in the same sniff. High octane nic deep bbq smoke almost like liquid smoke.. Tread lightly this will peck your eyes out.

Honey Bee by Swisher Int. smooth light fluffy, do not be fooled it is massive nic and the sweet is deceptive it can sting a fair deal but oh soo nice.

Lorillard sweet by swisher int. Light light sweet no honey just light sweet scented tobacco with a bit of a punch very easy to way to overboard with it. My new go to for a quick pick me up.

Navy sweet also by swisher. Not much differnece between Lorillard but enough more on the toasted tobacco side and very clean feeling. also a possible go to daily.

Conwood peach well its sweet not my fav to artifical sweet.

Railroad mills maccaboy! oh this is a daily many times a day starter for me very moist medium grind earthy slightly floral goodness.. VERY easy to take.. fair nic carasses not the sledge hammer like some of the others and not overly perfumed.

Awesome DB! A dedicated snuff review thread!
Out of those you reviewed I have tried three

Rooster: I loathe it, I just do not like the strong BBQ scent, it is powerful and a wonderful nicotine hit, but I cannot get past the BBQ.
Honey Bee: Wonderful snuff this one! Great nicotine, wonderful scent, smooth in the nose, I have to be careful taking this one as my all day snuff as I get way to jittery taking a pinch here and a pinch there. I always have it with me but use it for occasions when I need a extra hit of nicotine. Great snuff, one I will always have (unless PACT ACT sticks it to me)
Maccoboy: Another wonderful snuff, I like this one because it is moist, a easy snuff to do the "gobs" of. Has a very slight scent of rose, not overpowering just in the background. Good on the nicotine too!

I need to try more of the sweets but I will be avoiding the smoked ones that have the BBQ scent. I just got my Three Thistles Strong and this is one I think you would like.

It is BBQ scented although not as strong smelling as the Rooster, it has some burn but again not like the Rooster but it does deliver the goods as far as nicotine goes. I keep it as one of my emergency need massive nicotine now snuffs but sadly the smokey scent puts me off a bit.

Anyway great idea on the thread!

SO in my flavored stable I will list all the sub types of Dholakia I have. I know these are not flavored per say but it is what I have these labeled under. They are Dholakia, wow, blast, temptation and Dholakia limited.

Coffee limited. This is insane stuff not coffee more like snuff insanity. gives me nic chills EVERYTIME!

Swiss chocolate. this gets so many reviews and all glowing and all well deserved. medium and moist.

American Caramel hmm sweet rich not really caramel but I like it and mixed with swiss chocolate or apple pie it is mellow. medium and moist

Apple pie should be called clove madness, no hints of apple all clove no cinnamon.... who puts clove in apple pie over cinnamon?medium and moist.
Whiskey and honey.. Hmm sweet no real whiskey no real honey but fair moist and medium.

Coconut toffee MUCH love for this, artifical coconut but hey smells like almost every well its suductive and sweet. moist and medium.

Coffee bite! woo I have so much love for this one I have chewed through almost a 25g tin and snuff this everyday.

More to follow.

I forgot Black this stuff is the cigar humidor or nightmares. I find I have to really be in the mood for this one or mix with swiss chocolate.

Here is yet another installment of as the strolls sniff.

Please bear in mind these are my takes on the snuffs I own in my collection. Some have been samples others well purchased and loved.

Windmill, molen, dekraling whatever you call it, call it mastery of snuff and blending.

Macuba. Light floral rose, medium dry grind reminds me of the roses my grandmother used to grow.

Peppermint. Dark moist rich tobacco and peppermint not for everyone but I enjoy it. Reminds me of a peppermint mocca.

Choco and chococreme ok these are contenders for the choco crown not very easy to take being a medium dryer grind, but enjoyable non the less.

Bon Bon ok I can see some enjoying this but this one has been the only throw away snuff for me. It was a sample and it hit a primal raw nerve that made me gag and pray for mercy.

Not a large one in this selection, Torque

The guilty sin pleasure of this lot is baccon n cheese.
OMG fine grind semi moist cheesy smokey light on the bacon in my nose but it scratches an itch somewhere.

QWS ice cool. maybe not torque but it is a stand alone.. very smooth menthol but the bullet has a faint plastic smell to it that does seem a bit unpleasant.

Quit natural seems semi lemon note to t but good.

Bourbon. Hmm I drink bourbon something is lost in this translation. faint oak notes and tobacco.
Whisky honey.. This one is light oakey no whiskey but burns nice.

Spanish Gem this is the little sister to French carrote, slight floral and spice and everything nice nothing to over the top from sniff to end.

A thing to add the bullets are awesome.

I will be gathering a few more out of the line up and getitng the raw rustica leaves from this company for my own bases for self grinding.

I will keep going breaking it into blocks of my collection.

I think I will stop there for the night and go to bed.
I have McCrystals and WoS up for tomorrow I think.

Great thread Dred, I will copy all my reviews from my blog to this thread, and expand on them as I find the time!

Sly's Master Snuff Review Post:

5 Photo Himalaya - WOW. This snuff is exotic, to say the least. First off, the rectangular tin is literally PACKED with snuff...50g packed so tightly is it almost a solid block, but it is easy to pinch from. Black in color, pretty moist, and a big nic hit. The flavor is very complex, very floral and musky, with a very slight hint of menthol.

Bernard Klostermischung - awaiting order

Conwood Peach Sweet Snuff - this stuff is growing on me. fine and dry american sweet scotch, with just a hint of peach. i wish there was more peach though...[edit: definitely snuffing this more often, subtle peach notes and very sweet...][edit 2: reminds me of Honey Bee, but this one hits a little harder]

de Kralingse(molen's) Chococreme - delicious! Very rich chocolate flavor, I like this better than the Dholakia swiss chocolate. Coarse grind, virginia tobacco, low-medium nicotine

de Kralingse(molen's) Chococreme-L - just like the original chococreme, but this one uses Latakia tobacco. The dark tobacco gives a bit richer chocolate flavor, I like this better than the virginia tobacco chococreme.

de Kralingse(molen's) Pepermunt - Same Latakia tobacco used in the chococreme-L, and a coarse grind. A very tasty snuff. This is NOT menthol, but rather peppermint, and there IS a difference!

Dholakia Limited Raspberry - whew...this one was one of my first menthol snuffs i tried, not knowing it was going to be menthol...i don't really get much raspberry from it, since the menthol is overpowering. I ended up mixing this 50/50 with dholakia swiss chocolate for a pleasing raspberry chocolate!

Dholakia Swiss Chocolate - what more can be said? it's like sniffing a packet of swiss miss cocoa mix!

Dholakia Temptation Lime and Lemony - a little disappointing. this is distinctly dholakia in its tobacco flavor, but the lemon/lime is almost like a dishwasher detergent. not my favorite citrus snuff.

Dholakia WOW Coffee Bite - very tasty coffee snuff, I will be mixing some of this with dholakia swiss chocolate for a nice mocha

Fribourg & Treyer Bordeaux - awaiting order

F.U.B.A.R. Grunt Snuff - awaiting order

Hedges L260 - awaiting order

McCrystal's Apricot - one of my favorite fruity snuffs! definitely my favorite apricot. non-menthol, and a HUGE amount of apricot flavor. if you like apricot, i recommend this. [edit: still my favorite apricot :)]

McCrystal's OG(original&genuine) - tasty with just a touch of menthol!

McCrystal's Raspberry - yum!

McCrystal's S'nuff - tasty and smooth. medium-high nic hit, very nice

Poschl Gawith Apricot - typical to poschl, this one has too much menthol for my tastes, and not enough apricot.

Poschl Gawith Cola - decent cola flavor, but the menthol detracts from the cola quite a bit. i prefer the toque coke.

Poschl Ozona Orange - this one took some getting used to, but it's become one of my favorite fruity menthol snuffs. the tin it comes in is cool, and different from any other dispensers. lots of orange flavor once you get past the menthol. like sniffing minty orange peels

Poschl Packard's Club - this is PACKED with flavor! unlike most of my poschl's, the menthol in this one doesn't mask the flavor. the dispenser is also very cool, it measures out a pinch for you!

Poschl President - i'm up and down when it comes to this one. the menthol definitely works wonders when i am stuffed up... the tin is handy because it has a mirrored surface that is great for checking your nose after a snuff

Poschl Red Bull - quite a bit of menthol, even more so than the president or the packards. nice though!

Poschl Replay Kentucky - awaiting order

Quit With Snuff Irish Coffee - tasty coffee, with just a touch of menthol. great morning snuff.

Rumney's Export Snuff - awaiting order

Samuel Gawith Raspberry - LOVE this stuff! only a hint of menthol, but an EXPLOSION of raspberry that is very long lasting! as others have mentioned, this does tend to clump up, but aside from that this is a GREAT snuff.

Swisher Dixie Sweet Snuff - awaiting order

Swisher Honey Bee - now my everyday travel snuff, fills my wooden snuffbox. a fantastic sweeeet scotch. really is sweet as honey

Swisher Railroad Mills Maccoboy - quite moist, very earthy in aroma with rose being the primary flavor. I detect a few citrus notes as well. pretty nice

Swisher Square - Finely ground, dry American scotch. Similar to Rooster, with almost as much smokiness. Definitely packs a good nicotine punch.

Swisher Strawberry Sweet Snuff - awaiting order

Swisher TOPS Sweet Snuff - another sweet scotch, others have compared it to 'smarties' candy. has a bit of a caramel/vanilla flavor to me. not bad, not my favorite

Toque Absinthe - distinctly toque, and a nice anise/aniseed flavor. nothing compares to the actual absinthe drink, but this sure comes close

Toque Apricot - flavorful apricot.

Toque Champagne - this stuff is tasty, very sweet and definitely has a champagne/wine flavor. unfortunately the flavor is vey short-lived. edit: this is a very soft and pillow-y snuff, i love to poke around with my finger in the tin, lol.

Toque Cheese and Bacon - LOL! I can't say enough about this one....bleu cheese and bacon...it sounds strange, but this IS a fantastic snuff.

Toque Coke - toque hit the nail on the head with this one...definitely tastes like coca cola to me. i like it

Toque Grapefruit - pretty good citrus snuff, like when you're cutting a grapefruit and get a shot of juice up your nose!

Toque Lime Toast - i love this stuff. a great toast by toque, a unique and pungent lime flavor. definitely a fan. [edit: i love this a lot actually, it definitely packs a toast kick, and has a wonderful lime flavor]

Toque Peppermint - This is a great snuff! Medium-dry moisture, medium nicotine, and a wonderful peppermint aroma. Very easy to take, unlike the Molen's pepermunt, which is a bit rough on the nose/drip. I recommend this to everyone! It's not a menthol, but rather it's peppermint. A lot of menthols, for me, tend to give me a runny nose at first, followed by a bit of stuffiness. This one is non-mentholated, so no problems!

Toque Pomegranate - tasty! wish i had more than a bullet...[edit: and now I do! I reordered a 25g tin. This is a fabulous all-day snuff. Floral and sweet, with a lot of flavor. A great non-menthol fruity snuff!]

Toque Raspberry - not as much raspberry flavor as i would like, but definitely a good snuff. similar to the pomegranate, and i wish i had more than just a bullet of this stuff..

Toque SP Extra - awaiting order

Toque Toast and Marmalade -
tasty toast, and not very harsh like most toasts. try it!

Toque Whiskey and Honey - this is a great HDT by toque. pretty sweet due to the honey, but i can't really taste any whiskey

US Smokeless Tobacco's ROOSTER - holy smokes....literally! a SUPER smokey aroma, and definitely not a SWEET scotch. reminds me of sitting around a campfire! and the nicotine punch this has....really IS a punch in the nose! sniff carefully!

Wilsons of Sharrow Apricot - probably my second favorite apricot snuff. it's growing on me

Wilsons of Sharrow Brunswick - WOW! this stuff is great and full of flavor. its very coarse and moist, so it's not on my everyday rotation, but the flavor is out of this world. this stuff is also BLACK in color, and quite messy.

Wilsons of Sharrow Irish D High Toast No. 20 - Not as good as the 22, but still a good snuff. Coarser grind than the 22, and less smokey, but actually more of a lemony/flowery scent. Smooth to take, but still packs a good punch

Wilsons of Sharrow Irish High Toast No. 22 - a great toast. need more time to get used to it, but this has replaced the toque W&H as my favorite non-fruity toast. [edit: smokey and delicious, but packs a punch! snuff carefully...]

Wilsons of Sharrow Queens Extra Strong - I'm enjoying this one a lot. It's apparently a re-labeling of their original Tom Buck snuff. Fine grind, smooth to take, with a medium-high nic hit.

Wilsons of Sharrow Lemon Grove -
loving it. Very smooth and easy to take lemon snuff, medium moist, medium nicotine. quite nice!

more to come!

Brunswick WoS is amazing for the dark factor that it is not overpowering. Light feeling and taking is pleasant and slight lemon and bergmont to me. Good stuff and very moist.

Wos HDT #22 wow toasty tasty and light. slight toasted bread scent that is clean not cloying light and dry.

WoS toast #20 hmm lemony zest slight bergmont a bit more moist feeling that HDT#22 and a fair linger.

Toque Original - pleasant but kind of weak in the smell and nic department, has a slight menthol taste with a stronger tobacco flavor and a hint of citrus

Dholakia Swiss Choc - I'm not sure why this is so popular, it tastes like chocolate yeah but it really doesn't do it for me

McChrystals OG - my favorite by far, has a strong menthol hit and a moderate-high nic hit

QWS Apricot - fruity apricot flavor that I like once in a while with a hint of menthol

QWS Ice cool - like a weak McChrystals but nic content is ok

QWS Irish Coffee - I think I actually like this more than Dholakia Swiss Choc because it has a slight menthol touch

Dholakia Kamal - smells like roses haha, I've only done this once but it's overwhelming and doesn't go with anything, everyone says it has high nic content but I've done it only once and a small amount at that but I'll see

gashin, I definitely agree about the QWS irish coffee. That tiny hint of menthol really adds a nice touch. I enjoy the QWS irish coffee more than the WOW coffee bite!

LOL Sly, Wiz and Gashin, I feel the same way Sly, I really do like the QWS Irish Coffee (use it almost daily), but the Wow coffee bite I have trouble with. Honestly, I think it's because the Wow does smell so much like coffee and I have trouble with that scent in my nose...there must have been a time I had trouble with a cup of coffee and it went up my nose and that's the association.:D

Got to laugh, I have Toque Peanut Butter and the Cheese & Bacon coming, I wonder how I'm going to make out with them. Can't wait to find out.:)

For some reason I can't edit my original post with additions, so I'll re-post it all!

Fribourg & Treyer Bordeaux - My first F&T snuff, and I'm glad I ordered it! On the moist side, with a medium grind, this is a very flower-y snuff. Scents of rose, sandalwood, a bit of citrus, and very perfume-y. Reminds me a bit of the Railroad Mills Maccoboy, but without the huge nicotine punch. I'm liking it so far!

F.U.B.A.R. Grunt Snuff - awaiting order

Hedges L260 - Fine grind, medium moisture, VERY-menthol. This is my sinus-clearing snuff, for sure! Reminds me a bit of the O&G. Powerful menthol hit and nic hit, which fades into a very tasty tobacco.

McCrystal's Apricot - one of my favorite fruity snuffs! definitely my favorite apricot. non-menthol, and a HUGE amount of apricot flavor. if you like apricot, i recommend this. [edit: still my favorite apricot :)]

tasty toast, and not very harsh like most toasts. try it!

Sly....I see you gave this one a mini-review already(Love your list by the way).I see this snuff in a different light as I am a fan of menthol.Typical of most Poschl snuffs there is the menthol "overtone" which in most cases seems consistant. The menthol does hit quick at first but soon fades into the "cola".Toque Coke IMO is very true to the Coke flavor(although very short lived).Poschl Cola is more of a true Bavarian cola...Sweet and non-carbonated...Definatly more of a syrup taste. The grind is somewhat moist and fluffy and nicotine content seems to be Med-Low(More Med IMO)

As with most Poschls I really enjoy this snuff.I would give it 4 out of 5:thumbs:!!

:)The Wiz!

so next up S'nuff by mcccrystals.. plain tobacco nothing overly pronounced but a slight lemon bite. goot high octane.
wos menthol plus. slightly moist at first mine dried out and wow its kinda brutal.
wos peppermint same as above but peppermint.
so the dried out ones are getting a drop of vg and ziplock in make shift huimdor action will let you know how it works out.

I said the trip down to the sharrow way BUT its going to the SG.
Samuel Gawith.
Peppermint gold and Black coffee, both taste the same both nose the same..

Next is lotzbeck vanilla not sure IF i covered this stuff but its super rich and vanilla.

SO with a snotbox full of lotz nilla I broke out the mortar and some BS2... Not a whole lot just ohh about a gram or so... NUM city.
