Thanks skrymr. I can't believe how tight the slides fit. Very nice.

Yepster, no the back is just plain wood grain.

I also got some tangerine essential oil that I am testing on some WoS tangerine. I put three or four drops on a piece of cloth inside a smash box of the tangerine snuff to see if I can enhance the scent. I might also try mixing some toque menthol with some tangerine and then doing the oil treatment to see how that works.

This morning I opened the smash box of Wos tangerine snuff that I put the piece of paper towel with the tangerine essential oil on it. I could have probably just used one or two drops. The snuff absorbed the scent and the moisture. My cold is a bit better today so I took a couple pinches. It is a little moist but the tangerine scent is wonderful and is lasting much longer than it did without the boost from the essential oil. I am very pleased with the results. I can't wait to try it with some menthol and I have high hopes for that case of stale lemon grove that I got from tobacco supermarket last year since I got a bottle of the lemon too.

Well, I thought I had it under control, but since I've started using snuff, I find the Onyx to be too overpowering. So, I'm giving you guys a heads up before posting on the PIF thread. I have 5 unopened cans of Onyx for sale for $35.00 shipping included. If you want it over night, you just have to pay the difference. With standard USPS, it should arrive in about 2-3 business days. I'd rather sell them as a lot, if I could.

Bsg, honestly that's too much for me to pay for five cans. When I put in my last order I ended up at 3.23 a can with shipping. You probably bought that thru northerner. They are about $1.20 higher a can on the general snus compared to snuscentral. Even though snuscentral has a higher shipping cost, they don't charge tax and their prices are usually quite a bit cheaper so if you place a good size order then the cost each comes out much less. I appreciate the offer. Maybe someone else will take you up on it.

Skrymr, I mixed some toque menthol with the WoS tangerine yesterday and put a couple drops of the tangerine essential oil on a piece of paper towel in the smash box and left it closed up for a day. I opened it up this morning, mixed it up, and took a couple pinches. I came out with a mild to medium menthol with a tangerine scent that lasts as long if not longer than the menthol. I'm at the 15 minute mark since I took the pinches and can still smell the tangerine pretty well but the menthol is fading. I would call it a success. The only down side to it is that the snuff absorbs the moisture from the oil along with the scent so right now the snuff is pretty moist. I think I may have finally found the orange/tangerine scent I've been looking for.

Skrymr, I just put some of the stale lemon grove into a smash box with some lemon essential oil. I'll let you know tomorrow how it came out. Tobacco supermarket must have had this stuff on the shelves for years. The funny thing is that the case of twelve was still in the original box and shrink wrapped so it should have been air tight. Or I would have thought so anyway.

It sounds like the essential oils do the trick. I'll have to try some if I can find it. I think Hobby Lobby has some. I'll get some orange and put it in with my Poschl Apricot. I'm really interested to hear how the lemon turns out. In case you haven't noticed, I love citrus.

I've been staying with the Toque Pomegranate lately. After being stored for a while, the flavor really blossomed nicely.

I'm really enjoying this tangerine since I did the oil in it. I went ahead and dumped the smash box into my new snuff box. The spoon is nice to use. Since it's so moist it doesnt pour really well. I would say the moisture level right now is a little more than you would find in the ozona raspberry.

Wiz, it's good to see you here again. I have been looking for a really good orange or tangerine snuff for some time now and thought if it was a menthol too then that would be even better. So what I did was take some WoS tangerine and mix it with some toque menthol and then put it in a smash box with a few drops of tangerine oil on a piece of cloth. Let it sit for a day and the snuff absorbed the tangerine scent and some of the moisture. So far I'm liking it quite a bit. I'll have to see how it is after it dries out a little. Hopefully just as good.

Skrymr, I sampled the lemon grove that I put the lemon oil in yesterday. The snuff now has a very realistic lemon scent like cutting into a fresh lemon. The stale tobacco scent is gone and honestly I really don't pick up on any tobacco scent at all. It's just pure lemon. The hang time doesn't seem to be as long as the tangerine but that might be because of the quality of the snuff that I started with. The tangerine was much fresher to begin with. Unfortunately I have a case of 25g tins of the stale lemon grove so this might be as good as I can do if I want to make use of it.
