Snus - the best and the worst

I was thinking that people frequently state their favourite snus but less so do we hear about their least favourite.

So here goes... I'm looking for, IYHO, your best and worst three snus.

Yes, I know that tastes change over time so just for now, which three snus are always in your orders and which snus, if offered, would you rather just do without?

To start off:

1) Grov Svart (black)
2) Northerner Energy (purified)
3) Ettan white

Worst three (worst last) -
1) Offroad coffee & vanilla
2) General mint white
3) Phantom brown white

Worst three? I, thankfully have not tried any that were bad enough I couldn't finish a can, so I really don't have a worst list.

Kitabz, I actually like the coffee vanilla.

The only really bad one I can think of is Jakobsens Iced fruit

Stubby, I had forgotten about this one. My tastes have changed a little since this went around the first time. I use more than three different kinds each day so I'll just list the ones I currently use.

Hey now.... I like GW, though I'm running low (only one unopened can left) and not really fretting about it.

I think I sold you a roll of OR Coffee Vanilla if my memory serves me right..... which it sometimes doesn't. Only one can left of that which I'm saving as a treat for the holidays. I will fret about that one somewhat.... but I had to make room in the freezer for my PACT stash.... which is all loose. Can't even get the stuff anymore.

I have two unopened snusx buckets with both the coffee and vanilla flavoring. When the time comes to dig into that I will see how that goes.

Stubby you did sell me that. I also bought a second roll after that. I could probably part with a few cans if you want some. I just couldn't take to the GW even though I tried it several times. Not to mention the portions were breaking open on me.

Best:

1. Offroad Cranberry loose, especially if taken from one click on a 3 ml Icetool and wrapped in a piece of coffee filter.
2. Any loose, if taken from one click on a 3 ml Icetool and wrapped in a piece of coffee filter.
3. Julesnus. (No I won't order it this year. I MUST use up the 53 cans in the freeze BEFORE ordering again.)

Worse:

1. ANY high nic portions. I don't remember which one I tried but I vowed NEVER extra stark again.
2. Any Offroad portions, not that I tried them. I refused based on REPEATED experiences of others.
3. Probe, not that I tried it. I refused based on REPEATED experiences of others.
4. Knox portions, not that I tried it. I refused based on REPEATED experiences of others. (I would buy the Knox loose again though.)
5. Any American snus, whether it be Camel, Discreet, Triumph etc. I have only tried the Camel, but won't touch American snus, even those I have yet to try. We Americans just can't make it as well as those socialists can.

Best:

General Onyx. For me, this one just does all right: shape, texture, flavor, nic. Onyx is a class act!
Jakobson OP or ice-fruit. Ya, I know, I know, this is the one many just throw away. Something about the bitter bite of these really works for me.
Roda Lakat. Mmmmm, dried fruit and a very "rounded" flavor. Interesting I like it, since it has almost no bitter bite. But like food, it all depends on what your tastes of the moment are.
Fillini mini mint: mint and chocolate! My go to for discrete snussing, like during meetings.

Worst:
Of those I tried, maybe OR licorice, but even that I like at times. I have tried virtually every OP and strong portion getsnus sells, save for "energy" snus. Have not tried ES anything, but strong is gonna make me reach for the water bottle. Of those I have tried, there is really not a one I do not like. More accurately, there are some snuses I love, and others I just like, and others that are ok. My main complaint about OR is that it hits fairly hard initially, but dies pretty fast. I find the flavor fine though.

I prefer to judge those I have tried, as there are people that are very opinionated about some snus, and absolutely hate some, and communicate that here...and I have yet to find one I could not be happy with if it was the only one available.

But +1 werkit for avoiding American snus. In almost all processed food or tobacco in this country, there seems to be a need to secretly poison the consumer: too much salt, aspartame, MSG, TSNAs from fermatation of tobacco (one reason I avoid US snus), you name it. Its like they need to trick us into being sick.
