I posted in another thread that Im leaning away from e-cigarettes and looking at using snus almost exclusively as my nicotine delivery device. Mostly because of the lack of long-term research on e-cigs and the plethora of same regarding snus. Plus, I just love the stuff. And I dont currently have a smoking habit for e-cigarettes to help me break. So why relearn those behaviors? (Though I fear it might be too late. I surely do enjoy e-smoking!)
For now, a few observation and questions regarding snus and similar products. I could post these thoughts on a snus forum, but folks here at e-cigarette-forum are just more laid-back and approachable (you know exactly what I mean T-Bob.)
In my first post, I said that I loathed the General white minis. Which I really did. Despised them. But I fell prey to that phenomena so many have pointed out: When I went back to it a few days later I found that I liked it. Im sorry, I mean I loved it. Used it exclusively for two days. Go figure.
Got hold of some Wise Wine & Chef 6mg, but was very, very, very afraid to try it after hearing of adverse reactions here. Turns out I like it as well. In fact, I find it to be the perfect morning eye-opener. You get that ultra-quick nic hit, but not the long term (30 minutes or more) commitment of traditional snuss that causes you to delay breakfast or brushing your teeth, etc. In other words, I can add it to my morning routine without disrupting my morning routine.
Bob, youve said Stonewall is your eye-opener and after-meal choice. And you're also one who has said that the W&C can be overwhelming. Have you tried it upon wakening? Your nicotine load is easily thrice mine, so I wonder if the W&C is simply too much for your already saturated blood levels? (Not meant in any negative connotation, hopefully did not come across that way.)
Speaking of Stonewall, I found some of its sister product, Arriva, locally and purchased a java flavored pack (What I really wanted was Stonewall, but apparently Ill have to order those online.) The taste was at first quite delightful, but quickly grew unpalatably sweet. So, before I make an online purchase, and assuming the flavors would be the same, is the wintergreen Stonewall less sweet? I know several dislike the natural flavor, but is it sweet too? Is it possible to describe the flavor of the natural?
Dont think Ill ever become a loose snus user, but I am interested in trying some regular size portions, and perhaps the moist variety as well. Ill post back when I do.
