Not to sound naive, but I'm not sure - I had just registered here to get started and someone had posted a link to a kit from High Desert vapes - not knowing anything at the time, I bought what they suggested. I'm guessing _

I checked and they are knock-offs. I would contact them.
The flashing sounds like the battery is "shorting out". Does it flash when not attached?

Did you check to make sure you didn't accidentally turn them off while vaping them? Maybe you could try clicking them 5 times fast to see if they are off? It sounds stupid and its probably not your problem but that has happened to me lol.

alsooooo, i say stay far away from nuvo cig. They don't give a single care about vapers. All they care about is money imo. Your best bet? Definitely refill their cartos till they are clogged up, then throw them away and never return to them again! Good luck.

No, only when I press the button - it will flash for however long I press it, then it's out once I let go.

I have no complaints about the vendor at all - this would be my own newbie-ness (if that's a word) that bought the kit. I was coming from having only tried the mall kit (the nuvo) and blu disposable. All the info here was so confusing that once some posted a link for kit, that came with everything to get started, I was all over it. I didn't know enough yet about what I was buying. They were great though and even changed an order for me after it had processed and I sent them an email.

Thanks for all the help though - I've tried various clearo's and it's the same thing each time - no vaping but the flashing light. I did try the q-tip because I hadn't done that and it didn't help.

I will just remind my hubby of how proud he said that he and my son were of me before hitting him with going to Queens on a Sunday morning. Worst case is that if he's really against, I can't figure out how to get there, I'll try and get an order into one of NJ vendors and see if they'll help a girl out as quickly as possible. Until then, I am charging the Nuvo (which feels so funny to hold now) and I dripped a little of my juice into the carto - hopefully that was ok to do. That will get me through tonight at least.

I'm still floored by this though. Again, a million thanks for the help.

Sorry in advance, but frustration level is high and I'm trying not to throw in the towel. After starting with 2 kits, for a total of 4 ego-T's and 2 chargers, I am currently down to possibly 1 ego-T and 1 charger. If something happens to this one, I'm sunk.... I had posted about the charger/battery issues but I'm guessing I'm not having common problems. The one question that I'm really hoping to get an answer to is: 2 of my 3 ego-T's are flashing when I press the button to vape, and they won't work. It might work once, then start flashing - and nothing, no vapor at all. One of these batteries was charging for like 7+ hours today before I realized the light was still red. So, though lights are working, my guess is that they are both shot, leaving me with one (which is charging now - leaving me with nothing. :( ) Does it sound like they are dead? It's confusing because it will work randomly, and the lights work - but I don't know why it's flashing. One of the chargers fried when I used it with my laptop - I don't know if I'm incompetent or what, but I'm going through equipment like crazy...
Anyway, I obviously need to get some new stuff and fast - I don't even care what at this point. Can anyone recommend an online store with fast shipping?

Thanks....
get a mechanical mod from altsmoke.com they have fast shipping and you can drive a mechanical with upwards of a 18650 rechargeable battery. the chargers (bought separately) usually come with 2 batteries included. 1 battery for all day vaping, and one charged back-up. problem solved.

I think all kits are junk and should just buy genuine ego and vision products. I had leaking problems once which made my batts have similar blinking problems after cleaning out the leaked juice it seemed to work fine, then I switched clearos to the tanger t2 which hasn't leaked on my yet in the 3 months I've been using them. I love ordering supplies from DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo which seem to be located in NY I believe and have fast shipping, I live in Michigan and get stuff in 3 days with standard shipping for a couple of bucks, same goes with AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Your one stop shop! another good vendor IMO

I started of with kits and had no success with any onei have purchased and after purchasing a cpl of ego twists, a charger and a few clearos I haven't had one problem with charging or leaking.

If the batteries are charged? , and thats what a battery does [flash] when it needs charged, then its possible that one or more of those clearomizers may be shorting out the batteries. Do you have a meter to check? If not, get some new clearos also.

I'm sorry! I didn't read the fine print. I assumed it was Sat and Sunday. The site has tips for hotels to stay at - don't you think that area is going to be crawling with vapers tomorrow?

Please don't apologize - I read the site, their facebook page, nearby store pages that mentioned it, etc., and it wasn't until AFTER I got my husband to say yes that I realized it was over....well, right now! Trust me, I truly appreciate the help in the first place.

Does anyone know anything about VapeNY? They are an online and b&m store in Queens, NY - they are at Vapefest but give a cell phone number for emergencies..... wait, forget that, it looks like they are sold out of most of what I'd want. Ok, never mind.... :D

That would be Joyetech. "eGo" is a style, not a brand. Discount Vapers is not a Joyetech distributor.

I agree with Ocelot. To be clear, eGo is the name of the class or type of the intermediate batteries used in vaping. Although there are many knockoffs claiming to be genuine eGo batteries, that is actually a misnomer and means absolutely nothing. The better manufacturers in vaping for eGo type batteries are Joytech (or Joye) eGo and Vision eGo. Much like AW, Panasonic, and Efest make the best replaceable rechargable batteries for APV's or mods.

Having said that and to add to the confusion, some reputable online vendors like Altsmoke sell genuine Joytech and Vision products, but have made a business deal with those companies to rebrand their products with their own logo and packaging. At least they do promise in the product description that the manufacturers are from Joytech and Vision.

Smokeless Image does the same thing with their Volt X2 Spinner batteries, which are made by Vision and are exactly the same as Vision Spinners except for the 808 threading that they prefer and their Smokeless Image logo applied.

I'd call the emergency # anyway - they might have something in the back room :)

Also called mid-size batteries.
And lets not forget Kgo, or we might cause a riot :)

How much do you want to bet he is at the Vape Fest?

I'm sure he may be but since the OP states the possession of one working unit, it appears we haven't reached critical mass yet so I was providing valuable knowledge for future use. But thanks for assuming the obvious.
