It took me about a month to stop analogs. It was mainly because I was scared. I knew that if I didn't plan well, (i.e. make sure I had plenty of battery power and juice, at a minimum) and I ran out, or something broke, then I was out of luck. I don't know about anywhere else, but you can't run into a convenient store or a gas station and buy one and be set. Yeah, I could go to the mall and there they sell "Smoking Everywhere" e-cigs, at 100.00 per, and a 15 ml tobacco (High) is 28.00 plus tax...completely out of the question. So, I was hesitant to give up analogs completely. It has been 2 months since my last analog. and I have started doing mods and I am a complete e-cig evangelist.
The other day, I was driving home from work, and I knew that my battery was low, and I wasn't far from home. My battery finally dies, and I start freaking, even though I know that in just a few minutes I would be home with a fresh battery and all would be well with the world again. But a friend had forgotten his analogs and a lighter in my car. "screw it, I am having one"...I lit it, and the little bit of smoke that I got from lighting it was absolutely disgusting to me. Worse even than when I started smoking. I said, "How in the hell did I do this for 22 years!!" and threw it away. No more analogs for me. I just make sure I plan well. I have a 10 ml bottle in the car, I have one in my pocket and at least 1 30 ml bottle at home that I use to fill them all up with. I keep a battery in my PV, and if I know that I am going to be working late I will throw my spare in my pocket or even take the charger with me.
Now, I am going to be getting a passthru for work and the car and home and keep my battery model for when I need it. The bottom line is, plan well, and give yourself some time. For the first 2 weeks of vaping, I was the same way, I would have an analog when I first got up, after a large meal, and right before bed and vape the rest of the time. Then it got to where I would just vape heavy heavy heavy right before bed and put my PV on the night stand just in case I would wake up jonseing. I never did...
Now, after 2 months, I don't even want a smoke. But I am absolute cloud factory all day.
My rig is a mini rough stack from Madvapes and 36mg of whatever juice I happen to be vaping. Today, it was very berry from TopVapor (MadVapes brand) but I also love coffee and RY4 from places like innovapor etc...
I love the 48 mg juice too...for me, it wasn't about quitting smoking, it was about efficient delivery of nicotine, without dying of cancer. Checkpoint met, I win.
Good luck and if you need help or advice, let me know...
