Briefly before I stated vaping I went and asked my Director of Operations if PV(I said E-cig) use was allowed in the office while at my desk. She wasnt sure and asked HR who said no Because it's "Not fair to the other smokers." While debateable, I said ok. over the next few days My co-workers, mostly smokers, noticed me in the smoking area with my ecig and started asking about it. so I gave them a quick 5 minute rundown. after that, I asked them "If you could use one of these on the floor, would you?" to which the answer was an almost Unanimous(Spelling?) "Yes." the exception was one guy who claimed that the water vapor would Damage the computers. That excuse made me chuckle. Ive been thinking about trying to get the company on board with ecigs. Maybe get a company deal going with a vendor or something, Pitch it as the company caring about the employees health and well being, and all they have to do is allow their use on the floor. Thoughts?
