Started out my E-Cig career at 5 Volts... Every mod I have Is 5 volts except my Carto pipe

But Ever since I got My Lava Tube I have been vaping non stop at 6 volts... I wish this thing went up to 7 :(

P.S.
3.0 ohm Boge carto's were made for this PV!!!

Congrats! I have 2 "LT's" shipping to me today.
If you are using a 3 oHm Carto (that's what I use on my Buzz-pros) at 6V you are pulling 12 Watts
I think (not sure, I will be testing) the LT is capable of 15 Watts. If so, with a 2 oHm carto with the tube set at 5.4-5.5 V you should be maxing the watts at 15, which should give you a little more heat.

Hmm Interesting... I dont have a volt box thing to hook up on it and check
but Ill mess with my multimeter and see what I can come up with

Have you got a meter to test the voltage before and during load? Do you find any voltage drop from 6v after you use the device for a couple of hours or more?

Silver Tube of Lava - more powerful than a Silver Bullet. - Cheesy I know but I Had to.

Haven't noticed that

I am very familiar with 5 volts... and when I crank it up to 6 I notice a huge difference...
when it's set at 5 volts it feels just like my regulated 5 volt mods

not sure if its spitting out 6 full volts but I can easily tell it's stronger

2ohms @5.4v is 2.7amps, sorry but the LT won't let you go there.

tj is right. I forgot about the 2.5 amp limit. Now it's me looking stupid tj. I deserve it from yesterdays crack.
tj--corect me if I've got this wrong (high probability) on the LT set at 6V, with the 2.5 amp limit, if you had a carto metering
2.4 ohms, it should draw 15 Watts of power ( which is what I thought I heard was the max from the unit)

    Check out the ohm's calculator.
    Ohm's Law Calculators
If the amp limit is 2.5 amps, your ceiling for most cartos is going to be in the 12 watt neighborhood.

You can find 4 Ohm and up cartos/atties these days, so that gives you more headroom for more 'volts' before you hit that 2.5 amp limit. I'm still thinking off the top of my head that you'll be pushing it to get more than 12 watts and stay in the 2.5 amp limit, of course you can play with the calc and see what you'd need to prove me wrong :)

BTW, anything over 12 watts on a single coil carto is going to be super hot. Many atties will 'instantly pop' with anything over around 9 watts. What liquids do you use that can stand up to that and still taste good? Dual and triple coil cartos are a different animal of course. They typically run each HR coil in parallel, so you could easily drive them higher with 'each coil' staying well under 10 watts. You'd need a hefty PV that doesn't have the 2.5 to 3 Ohm amp limit or a watt/voltage ceiling (usually put there for safety). Good luck...the only VV one I know (unless you build it yourself) that doesn't trip out at 3 amps or less is the Sarge VV box and I dunno if they still build those?

Darwin can do up to 6 amps (and up to 12 volts...but I've never passed 7v since there is still max setting of 12.7 watts on the Darwin Dial...would need an awfully high resistance carto to ever see those 12 volts, or a super low resistance to break past 3 amps).

Agreed. My sweet spot on my Buzz with a 3.0 ohm carto is about 4.8v Less than 8 watts. The OP was trying to squeeze more out of the LT.
