That is wonderful! A beautiful REO too!

Now, you will get a shipping notice from PayPal. It will come soon. If you don't see it by tomorrow look in your spam folder. It has tracking so you can tell when it will arrive. REO's ship with signature needed for delivery. So plan on someone being home.

At present, I go to school online, leaving my plenty of free time to stalk the mailman. :)

You've probably already done so, but you may want to hop over to this thread to make sure you have everything else you need to get the full experience by the time it arrives.

In my own somewhat foggy memory, a few folks have opted to use batteries other than the recommended AW IMRs, and have been disappointed in the performance. The batteries really DO make a big difference (IMHO).

And welcome to REOville, I hope you can find a nice home for all your old mods ;)

It is listing AW IMR 18650 1600mah. What about 2000mah, same brand?

Either one will work fine in a Reo Grand. The 2000mAh is just a whisker taller than the 1600mAh, but not enough to be a concern in relation to over-compressing the ground spring. The extra mAh isn't noticeable in a mechanical mod either. Most folks swap for a freshly charged battery once it has discharged to around 3.7 - 3.8 volts.

I have an RBA on the way, but in the meantime, I get to mess with cartos. I started with some XL smoketech's in my desired ohm cuz that is what I had. That didn't end well because they don't get saturated enough due to their size. So, I had some regular sized LR smoketech, and although I generally do not do LR I gave em a try. I am actually getting the same results - too many dry hits.

As for juice I have tried 80PG/20VG and 50/50. No noticeable difference there.

Any suggestions?

You can squonk em till their wet too. Just several good squonks till you see the top of the carto filler getting a little glaze

Squonking itself is something that you perfect and improve over time - there is a learning curve. For me, squonking took the place of flicking my ashes!

Hi susie,

It sounds like are not squonking enough. You are getting dry hits with a carto bcause there is not enough juice in the carto. There isn't enough juice so try squonking longer. Try drawing on the carto when you push the bottle (blind sqounk). Cartos will work with Reos with everything from 100% pg to 100% vg. An alternative method would be to fill the carto with juice before putting it on the Reo then squonk as you vape. Hope this helps.
