I just purchased my first Provari. I recieved it Thursday. I absolutely love it. It is the nicest mod I have ever owned. I was so impressed that I just placed an order for a mini.
I can say that picturs, reviews, videos....do not do this device justice. I am in no way putting down any other devices, but I had no idea how nice this was going to be. It just feels so awesome in the hand.

I still like most of my other devices, but I definitely have a new favorite.

I always say, until you have owned and used a Provari there is no way to adequately describe to someone who has never owned one just how nice of a PV it is. You can try but...

Just be glad you now have one. Ummmm, make that two.

My second Provari, a Mini, should be in my hands tomorrow or the next day. One would think I wouldn't be so excited with already having several mods, but I am. It was my gift to myself for my 1 year smoke-free anniversary.

Bad pretty much summed it up. I thought the same thing until I got one, there really is a difference. I don't know how to put it into words it's just better. The first time I fired mine up the first thing I thought was "now I understand". I would like to eventually get a mini.

Congratz mike. I sometimes feel silly having spent so much money on a provari when some could argue that cheaper devices will give comparable vapor. But will all the money we've spent on cigs, we should be holding something in our hands that we love as much as we once loved cigs. And I did love my cigs. But now I love my provaris. I personally feel like the provari is a luxurious device. Full size with the extension cap is glorious. It's a beast. It's elegant.

Ok I'm gushing. Glad you like!

I've had my mini for about a month now and of course like every other Provari owner I love it beyond words compared to my other devices. I already had a few Egos, an evic and a Natural when I got it. My wife wasn't super pleased and I just told her 'I now own the best you can buy for this type of device and I don't regret the purchase one bit' to which she replied with something like, cool now you can stop buying stuff and you don't need anything else. My response was simply 'Well I'm gonna need a second Provari at some point....' to which I got a bit of glare and an eye roll lol.

:pFor me it was a reward for staying of the ciggs for so long. Now, less than a week later, I cant imagine not having one.

I would only recomend them to those who are looking for something in this catagory. My mother has three Vamos, two she has had for almost six months, and she loves them. For her, they are doing everything she needs them to. VW is a great feature for her. I give her a bit of everthing that I use as far delivery devices. I dont have to wory about her calling me every day to see what she should be setting her devices to. Yes, I could explain it to her, but she is not a "fiddle with it" kind of person. She wants plug and play, and for the most part VW is that for her.

I have used a Smok Zmax for a long time. I generally use it VW. It is a very nice mod, and works very well. I think any of the current mid range PV's will be liked by most who buy them.

All that said....This is hands down my favorite PV of all time. For me, it was worth every penny I paid for it. I simply can not get over how nice it is. While not quite in the "cult"....... I do get it now. ( Awe crap, did I actually just say that ? )

after the last pv I had before the provari failed I kind of was like well looks like I'm stuck with the cigarettes. Then I tried the provari and was blown away. So I decided to do some research and found all the good reviews and all the hate. Usually if there are haters its for a good reason. Once I had one in my hand I could call my own I never looked back. Only thing is now I know I need a backup cause if anything were to happen I'm in trouble and would probably cave and buy a pack of cigs.

My Provari is the only mod ill leave the house with and not carry a backup, it just gives me the peace of mind to know that it will always work. And being that no other mods really get used anymore with any regularity that means never packing around multiple mods. Maybe that's a bit short sighted but if i ever have a problem with it ill be shocked. The only other thing I use really is my mechanical with a sub ohm coil in a genny though and that just stays at home anyhow.

It's a very nice device.... but without variable wattage I'm just not interested. It shouldn't be a deal breaker, but it is for me.
thats understandable. I'm not sure why but VW was never a big deal to me. I have heard some good things about the evic that made me curious but id rather save up for another provari.

If you really want to set it for watts it's a webpage / iPhone app / basic math and its done. Unless you're changing your resistance constantly its not a huge deal.

Volts = the square root of Watts multiplied by ohms.

Devices like the evic are just doing the math for you.
