That's a pretty loaded question. As far as batteries, IMR chemistry or Panasonic hybrids are considered the safest which of course is going to be a high priority running stacked batts. I'm not sure if you would have been around for it, but the biggest advance in attys has been rebuildables. As far as device goes, the options are nearly limitless. If you let us know what you're looking for in a mod I'm sure the folks here can point you in the right direction.

Your Silver Bullet should be fine to use again. Concerning batteries to use, when you last vaped protected Li Ion batteries were probably recommended. Presently, the recommended safest battery to use over the Li Ions are the safe chemistry IMR batteries. I suggest the AW 18650 IMR 2000mAh. AW IMR 18650 2000 mAh

You can also "Kick" your Silver Bullet to make it a regulated mod (variable wattage).Evolv Kick

Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected?

What type of juice devices did you use before?

If you used clearomizers, the latest generation have come a long way from a year ago. I'd recommend either the Innokin iClear 30 (dual coil with 16 wicks) or the Kanger Protank 2 (bottom fed, bottom coil, pyrex glass tube). Both are rebuildable, which means you can purchase just the atomizer head/wick assembly when the original one burns out instead of buying a whole new clearomizer. Both are 510 threaded to fit on your SB without an adaptor.

If you used cartotanks, the most popular are the pyrex tanks. IBTanked and Valley View Vapes both have a 7 ml tank that looks sweet on a Silver Bullet.

You'll probably find that it's more socially acceptable than it used to be. Reactions are still kinda regional though.

Good luck in your new lifestyle.

And I hope you quit the stinkies completely too. Check out RBA's, they are popular now. More than when you were away.
