So, last night..............

I was at work and someone complained that they could smell cigarette smoke in their room. I went to investigate. I was in his room for a good 5 minutes sniffing everywhere. I apologized and said I could not smell any smoke. So he asked " Do you smoke?!?!" This was the first time someone has asked me that since I made the switch to vaping 2 months ago. I must say, it felt really good to say " "No, sir, I don't smoke."

That's awesome, SFBrianT! Still waiting for my first opportunity to say the same thing, but nobody's asked me yet. We had a similar situation where I work with the phantom cig smoke smell coming from somewhere. My closest office mates know I DID smoke and switched to vaping, so nobody thought it was me, but it was pretty cool to not be worrying that it was coming from my clothes or hair. vape on!

Me too, I take a lot of pride in it. Funny..seeing as how I smoked for 31 years. I don't look down on people who do smoke, though. Been there, done that, so I understand the addiction.

I don't think I would have been able to, either. What a marvelous technological age we live in, e-cigs were a God-send for me.

I love the part where I smell good all the time. I never look down on smokers but I do feel bad that they haven't discovered what we have yet. That's why I work so hard to try and make information available if they're interested. I sat in the smoking section at the Atlanta (because smoking=vaping in Atlanta?) and spread the word. I felt like I was going to die afterwords, but I feel I might have helped. I always tell people if they email me I'll do everything I can to help them find the right set up. I love vaping and congrats on being able to say those words. I bet it felt great.

My proudest moment was when I was able to tell my doctor that I had finally quit for good. He really played it up, too. He's a cool guy.

Amen to that!! I loved it, too, and was terrified of the pain of trying to quit (OK, I'm a sissy ), but vaping made it wonderfully painless.

the best thing for me is the reaction i get from some people. Been going to the casinos a lot lately, nothing to do out here in BFE. The waitress see smoke coming out of my mouth and they ask if i need a ashtray. I tell no, i dont smoke. The reaction on their face are priceless.

When I was in SLC recently in the Red Lion Hotel she saw my vape and she was like, "oh, you can use that here in the non-smoking rooms, it's cool." Hehe. Kitchen staff didn't mind either. They'd seen it. Awesome.
