Ok after a ton of research im leaning towards either a lavatube or a GLV product. And definetly think I will prefer a Decent size tank setup.

I would steer clear of the Lavatube for now. There are quite a few people questioning the build quality on them. Cheap Made in China stuff IMO. There is a subforum dedicated to the Lavatube Lavatube

As far as the GLV, it doesn't offer true variable voltage. It's either a 3.7V, 5V, or 6V. Nothing in between. The build quality is there, however.

If the Buzz Pro is a little too expensive or big, take a look at the Infinity Pro - IPro

You DO get what you pay for :2cool:

Here are some reviews on the GLV and Infinity....

Any arguments against the Epower because of the white LED switch issue are now irrelevant.

This is mostly directed to MadJack and Yzer, as I saw both of you comment in this thread and i know you'll both be happy to hear this.

The fixed Epower switch is now available. It has a Blue LED like the older switch, but has the 5-click on/off feature like the white LED switch, but with the dependability of the older switch, as it's rated to 1.5ohm.

I talked to Brent from Hoosier and he said he tested it for awhile and it worked flawlessly with 1.5ohm dual coils. He said it is rated to use down to 1.5ohms, but said he did try the 1.25ohm cartos he sells and they worked as well.

Hoosier has them available on the site now, and Andrew from CCV said he's waiting for the package and expects to have them in a few days

Thx Spaceballs upon further research I found a lot of negative feedback with the lavatube. Only negatives I see with the GLV products are availability and I am leaning towards a tank setup which means multiple orders from diffrent suppliers. Only question now is Buzzpro or I-pro.

Short and fat, or long and lean. ;)

I wish I could help with the tanks, but I have NO clue about those. I can tell you that the latest and greatest thing out there is the Vision series tanks and tankomizers. The Vision Stone is the one you may want to look at, but it's going to be a little while before they are available again.
VISION Stone Tank Mod : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

And the obligatory review....

Good for you Northernshrink!!! Glad that you didn't let the argumentative tone of some posters in this thread deter you from making a good choice.

You'll be making clouds of vapor with the gear that you're considering. Better keep your window cracked so as not to obstruct your view as you drive. :)

Wishing you success in your vaping journey!!!

What about all the rest of the vendors that have e-powers?
What are they doing with all the white switches that are out there in the market place?
I have one of the first e-powers, and have used it enough to have worn completely through the plating on the switch housing. So I'm well aware of how great a little device it can be, but in good conscience I can not recommend them to a new person until all of the bad switches have been removed from the distribution system. There are more then two vendors that have them in stock. You didn't even mention any of the major players like MadVapes.

Spaceballs, I would think a CE2 type tank a bit "fussy" for a OTR trucker. He would be better off sticking to a carto tank just because of the ease of use.
You also can't use a carto or CE2 tank on a GLV (the switch is in the way)

Good advice and good idea on the reviews. Should help the OP in his decision process. I also agree with your comment that you get what you pay for. The GLV2 is definitely one of the best built models on the market.

Ok one last stupid noob question before I order my Blue Buzzpro :D when using a tank its A cartomizer that screws onto the power unit correct ?

Correct. Almost all tanks have a carto inside that is punched with some holes to allow the juice to flow into the carto from the tank. You buy a tank and you get either pre-punched cartos, or you punch them yourself with a saddle valve. The Vision Stone tank that I mentioned earlier does NOT use a carto, and there are a few other designs out there that are also carto-free.

Better to ask questions now and avoid making a $10-40 mistake down the line.

    Buzz Pro = :rickroll:

And if you aren't completely tired of watching pbusardo videos, here is one more for ya :)

    Thanks. I am trying. :p
As far as you get what you pay for, sometimes you get lucky, but in this case, I would rather recommend something that is made American TUFF! and can be run over by a 2-ton truck and come out with only a few scratches.
I like to point people towards the videos because many people, like myself, are more visual and tactile when learning. Unfortunately, they haven't invented touchy-feely multimedia (yet), so the vids give folks a better idea of what it would look and feel like.

    Once they invent Feel-Around, though,......

Good choice, and yes order the BuzzPro with a 510 connection and the cartomizer screws directly into it.

The 3ohm (standard resistance) carto allows you to enjoy the full range that the BuzzPro provides.
