So many online vendors. Why aren't there many local vendors?

I use to smoke cigarettes. Buying cigarettes was convenient; anytime, anywhere. I quit smoking because of vaping. After vaping for 6 months, I'm getting tired of buying it online, waiting, and anxious if my shipment will arrive in my mailbox or someone else's mailbox; constantly checking the USPS tracking log. And, with my anxiety, I hate to use my card online hoping that my card number wouldn't get stolen; moreover, with all these online vendors, I think to myself, how much can I trust these vendors.

It was fun waiting to get my shipment. But it's getting repetitive. Only once out of the 6 months of ordering did my shipment got displaced.

I never thought that I'll be potentially buying stuff online every other week, regarding my venture to try different kind of juice. I notice that there are plethora juice vendors online. It seems like it is easy to acquire the ingredients to make the juice. However, after reading a thread here about DIY juice, it seems like I'm not going through the trouble to make my own. I rather buy it in convenient way, like buying fastfood (I may sound lazy but I'm not spending time making juice; buying ingredients, measuring cups, steeping,....etc).

From what I understand is that vaping isn't the norm. If it was, I have the feeling that the gov't may take over the sales of supplies and juice.

All in all, as stingy I may sound, are there any vendors in Southern Caifornia SFV that sells ejuice, hardware, and cartos? If so, can you post it up or PM me?

Best Regards :2cool:

I'm very grateful that prolly the best vendor in Canada has a stall in a Flea Mt on the weekends. Reasons many do not have a B & B are:
overhead/ rent
more time consuming when dealing with customers in person= more employees. I've actually seen some very interested potential customers walk away.
many State and/ or municipalities are passing antz laws. That's prolly the reason many B & B are located outside larger cities as rural govs are more lax.

One thing I don’t get is the business model of the rip-off mall vendors.
They are quite successful in hawking inferior products at triple or more the price to get a one shot sale.

When dealing with a product like PV’s and consumables like juices it would seem to be better in the long run to convert this model to one that sells a quality product at reasonable prices. They may not squeeze as much out of a mark during the initial sale, but would be more profitable in the long run as people will return to the store every week for years to come.

I really think most people would pay a reasonable markup for the convenience of being able to just pick up their equipment and supplies at the local mall rather than do the internet mail order thing. Smoke shops and liquor stores are another good place to have vaping products as it just represents an extension of their existing business.

Up here in Canada awhile ago a Smoke shop vendor wanted to sell PVs and related gear/ juice but was told by the Gov rep he might lose his tobacco license if he went forward with the idea. I was in contact with a group of vendors and was told their target mkt were newbies. Their prices were ridiculous and I stated newbie vapers become "expert" very quickly and once they realized the premium they were paying would go elsewhere. I also stated the very best biz practice is to have loyal and satisfied returning customers. Never received a response.
