So after several very helpful responses in a previous thread, I decided the right starter kit for me would be the KGO kit. However, there seems to be a myriad of suppliers and I don't know who is most reliable or established especially for a newb like myself. I know there are specific places on this forum that include positive reviews of suppliers but I still don't know where to go at this point, or if it even matters. Same applies for choosing juice, it just seems overwhelming given all the options out there. Perhaps its best i just shoot for one and go from there? Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

The Reviews of Suppliers - Positive page is here.

The Reviews of Suppliers - Negative page is here.

You can sort through them until you find what you are looking for, but any of the ECF approved suppliers should provide good service. Personally, I'd go down the list of suppliers at the end of the main page until I found the product I wanted at a competitive price. Then I'd read their forum to see what others are saying about them.

The vendors that have the best deals for the kGo are Hoosier Ecig Supply, DarkCity Vapor, and Sweet-Vapes.com. (for sweet-vapes make sure you put the - in between sweet and vapes bc sweet-vapes.com and sweetvapes.com are 2 different vendors)

All three sell the kGo kit for about $43, and are all good vendors. I would check all three and see which one has the cheapest shipping, color you want, etc.
I know that Sweet-vapes and Hoosiers kits come with the big-bore cones while DarkCitys only comes with the regular cones, so that's a plus for Hoosier and Sweet-vapes.
DarkCitys kit comes with 5 cartos though instead of the 2 attys + Prefilled cartridges, while Hoosier and Sweet-vapes kit comes with the 2 attys and Prefilled cartridges.
So for that it really depends on what you'd want. The cartos def work a lot better and will give a better vape than an atty and cartridge, but it's also good to have an atty or 2 so you can test juices to see if you like them before filling a carto.

I would prob get it from Hoosier or Sweetvapes bc then you'll get the big-bore cones and 2 attys, and then you could just buy some cartos. it would def cost you more money to buy 2 attys than to buy a pack of cartos.
Then I would order some 1.7ohm Ressurector cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping. The Ressurectors are awesome and work great on PVs like the kGo and Epower. CCV sells them for a good price and has free shipping, so you wouldn't have to pay shipping again just to get some cartos. And if you buy a 15-pack, which I recommend, you get a free drip tip, which you could use with your attys to direct drip and test juices. Dont forget to put in "ecf5off" to get 5% off the order. 15 Ressurectors will cost you $20 shipped with the discount, which is def a good deal.

Thats what I would do if I was going to buy a kGo kit, but that's just me. You do whatever suits you best.

Sweet-vapes also sells the Epower kit for only $41.95, which is an awesome deal and it comes with your choice of cartos. The Epower is 3.7V also, and vey similar to the kGo in size and battery life, but the Epower uses non-proprietary batteries, which are removable. I use an Epower and love it, and bought it instead of the kGo bc the Epower batteries cost $4-5 compared to kGo/eGo batteries that cost $14-20, and they last longer before they need to be replaced. Plus everything is replaceable on the Epower so it's cheaper to maintain.

Im not saying dont get a kGo, bc the kGo is def a quality PV that gives a great vape. Just throwing out another similar option. Honestly I think you'd be really happy with either, so you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose.

Goodluck!

In general, since cartomizers aka cartos are disposable items with a bit of a filling/maintaining learning curve to keep from singeing them, I usually recommend a kit with atomizers and buy cartomizers separately. Even if you only use the atomizers until you learn to use cartomizers, you still want atomizers for dripping (w/ a drip tip) infrequently used juices and for testing new juices.

So if you get a kit with cartos, also buy an atomizer and drip tip. If you get a kit with atomizers, then also buy a drip tip and cartomizers (Boge 2 ohm are most popular but you could try some other ones - the only ones I do not recommend actually depending on are clear ones - they can need fiddling/modding to work)
