You must be a police officer, I used that phrase many times while I was a MP in the Corps. We would be having our war games and all of a sudden there would be a few guys just walking through a concealed check point, crazy days. I would always feel sorry for these folks who are trying to cross the border got all the way to Camp Pendleton and then run into a ambush we have set up.

I have much respect for multi-linguists. I've been trying for years to gain some functional fluency with Spanish, and I'm not even close. Then again, I haven't truly devoted myself to the endeavor.

In my line of work, being able to say "Sit down and shut up" is usually sufficient until someone fluent can arrive.

You guys are right dry hit is misleading, primer puff is only slightly better. Lets come up with a term that screams unpowered!

Here's how the little voice in my head says it: Squonk, suck; power, puff. It's a process that works for me.
