I had a little hiccup earlier, rotating the unit distrupted the brass connector connection and it wasn't firing. It was tricky to get the 's' wire to align with the connector center. Also the rubber ring holding the 's' wire against the bold was stopping the connector from screwing down tight.
But once I got it back together again, it was steaming a treat.
I love the compartments that all screw together nicely.
I can't see myself using the steel tank, since it is really nice to be able to check the liquid levels with the plastic syringe tank.
I am instantly getting better results than I ever had with my hybrid mini. Probably down to the solid connections that screw down. No more wrapping the silver wires with a wire wrapper.
One thing that was tricky, when tightening the positive screw, the tension pulled on the kanthral and pulled the mesh.
this probably could be avoided if I used a longer needle as support, mine was too short, so I did it without.
I am currently powering it on my old Indulgence battery mod I bought way back. Nice to be able to use it and the mountain of batteries I bought for it. Recently I have been exclusively using duel coil carts on ego T batteries.
I've not had a good time recently with 1000mah ego t batteries, two were replaced and one of the replacements has also stopped working, it sounds like the battery has come loose inside. So now I only have one big ego t battery that I don't want to risk ruining with the Gtank. so the indulgence will do my just fine for the time being.
Really really happy with this awesome device.
Alot of G-Tanks showing up in US now. Still none in my corner of Southern California.
