Hi all!

I've been smoking since I was in my late teens. About 7 years ago I gave quitting a chance and lasted a few months before I picked it up again. Since then I've smoked 3-6 'analogs' a day and even though it's about a quarter what I smoked before the six month hiatus, it's still not good for me and I'm more addicted than ever. When I've gone a few days without them in the past due to illness, with or without nic substitutes, it's driven me nuts...

I'd heard of eCigs before, but coming across these forums almost entirely at random showed me they weren't just some weird niche thing and sealed the deal. Time to try something new.

So I got my eVape branded 510 in the mail today and already I'm impressed.

This is Australia so nicotine containing liquid has to be imported and my order from eastmall hasn't shown up yet, but I've vaped some of the nic-free stuff and I think I'm going to like this. I've had a couple of 'real' smokes this evening to feed the addiction but they already taste worse than strawberry vapour

Here's hoping the hard stuff arrives soon.

Oh - one quick question - I never smoked in the house because of the smell. Is there a vaping smell if you do it inside? Is it (can it be?) anywhere near as bad?

Not that me or anyone around me has really noticed, my bro sometimes says he smells it, but only if he directly witnesses me puffing on it, he's a rabid anti-smoker type, if he sees smoke he thinks he smells cigarettes.

I puff liberally around the house, at work (although I stealth it depending on who's walking by, gotta watch out for the cig-nazis o/c), and stealth it in the bars never had a complaint yet.

Good luck on your vaping journey!! Although I doubt you'll need it ... it's just so much better than smoking.

I think it has a pleasant smell ... a very light lingering aroma of whatever flavor you're using. I never smoked in my house, but I don't hesitate to vape all day long.

Good luck and happy Vaping. The smell varies from one juice to the next. Some smell really nice and some not so much, but none of them seem to stink up the house at all or at least for any lasting time. I have friends who have a strickly no smoking policy in their house but don't care at all if I vape. If fact if they do comment it's to try and guess what flavor I'm vaping.

Ditto for my fiance and housemate. I was never ever allowed to smoke in his car. He lets me vape in his car. Sometimes he opens the car windows (I guess he can smell the vapor some since he is right next to me in the little 2-seater car) but he lets me do it.

My wife is the same way... she HATES cigs, but she's very supportive of my vaping. She lets me vap in her car, on long drives. Some juice (snickerdoodle, waffle) she hates the smell, but if I open the window a crack and blow the vap out the window, she's fine with it. Other juices (Green Apple, a few others) she doesn't mind at all.
