I do, surprisingly, miss the routine of heading outside to smoke sometimes - it gives me a break from things.

It's only been a little over 24 hours and I can relate to this... I never smoked in my house... so I have still been going outside off and on... my husband asked me why, and it's just another part of the habit I guess... the mind is a strange thing sometimes, isn't it....?

Most definitely! The addiction to smoking isn't just physical - there are so many triggers and different for everyone. For me, it's smoking in the car especially, and going outside to smoke (I also have never smoked in the house) and feed the squirrels. When I don't smoke, I forget to go out and feed the squirrels! Not a good thing! So it's a new learning experience, and letting go of the triggers is actually harder for me than giving up the analogs. And, really, the ONLY trigger at this point is the going outside thing, because I can vape everywhere else. I suppose I could train myself to vape outside, but what's the fun in that?! :D

we never smoke in the main house but i have a large room off the back of the house that is separate so i don't have to go up and down steps all the time, this became our smoking room as well... being disabled going out all the time was just not an easy option at times, thus my room becoming smokers central,, now i just have to educate the others that this has changed,,,, they are getting it slowly but at night they tend to migrate here still with lit smokes in hand. i have removed all ashtrays, but i will be getting my fav one back to hold carts and bits and pieces for my 510, i must say i am not always liking getting my sense of smell back,, sheesh ciggies smell gross so do ashtrays... and i never noticed it all these years yikes....

I've been doing the same thing... I still take mine out every time the dogs are ready to go out in the evenings. The force of years of ingrained habit is really amazing. I still go outside for my "smoke" break at work too... no policy about it, but I like the excuse to get away from my desk for a few minutes.

I started smoking at 19 (31 now) when I was in college. I thought it made be look cool and it *did* damnit! I met some of my best friends huddled outside in front of the building in the wind and snow. Over the years, I watched it climb to a pack and half a day habit (more like 2 or 2-1/2 if it were a night at the bar). I've been vaping now for a little more than a month and found V4L three weeks ago, but was still going through 7-9 cigs a day.

I ran out of Marlboro Lights yesterday afternoon at work and haven't picked up a new pack yet. I don't know if that means I "quit" so much as I just haven't had the cravings bad enough to stop for a pack. I know I've been burning through batteries and cartos like they're going out of style in the last 24 hours though!

I started vaping with no expectations and the hope that I'd at least save a little money over buying cigs, but maybe I've found the perfect substitute. Time will tell.

Well I used to be a non-smoker with much zeal. I strongly disliked smoking, smokers, and smoke in general. I think it was because I associated smoking with the low-lifes and overall failures of society. Of course my parents and grandparents and several other relatives all smoked, and I grew up with the thoughts in my mind that they were failures and other various non-sense. I was very rebellious, so anything they did, I did not do simply out of spite. (I had some issues growing up.)

Anyways then I got to college and began hanging out with a different breed of people who also happened to be smokers. Of course by this time, my rebellious attitude diminished some, and I became more accepting of different lifestyles and whatnot. It was during one of my final semesters when I was taking a Constitutional Law class as an undergrad that was being taught on the Law School level. (Undergrads had to get approval just to enroll in the class.)

Anyways this class interested me a lot, but it also required ungodly amounts of reading each night. (4-6 hours worth per night.) So I spent a lot of time in a local coffee shop reading my court cases with a couple of study partners who all smoked. So in an effort to fit in and of course stay awake for the reading, I began smoking a little here and there. That evolved into more smoking, and within a few years I was up to around 1/2 pack per day.

Fast forward to today, and I am roughly a 3/4 to 1 pack per day smoker who has tried all sorts of stuff to quit. Gum, patches, lozenges, Wellbutrin......none of it has worked well for me. I did snus for a little while, but they really only hold me over until I can get to my next cig. Which isn't a bad thing since I spend a lot of time traveling and doing IT work in office buildings and whatnot.

So last weekend I was at the airport in Atlanta, GA and was enjoying a smoke in their little smoker's aquarium when from the corner of my eye, I noticed this lady with some weird device in her hand. I turned my attention towards her and she was talking to some folks around her about this device. I gathered from what little I could hear that she had one of those electronic cigarettes. (I had heard of them but never really looked into them heavily.)

Anyways I moved over closer to this lady and asked her to explain it to me. She was kind enough to indulge me as she explained that she was using a JOYE 510 e-cigarette. She even gave me the name to a website where I could purchase one. She went on to explain that she had been smoking for 35 years and has quit since she got her 510. I took down some notes, thanked this woman, and carried on about my travel.

So this past Monday I get to my hotel and immediately got online to check this thing out. I checked out the website she suggested as well as a few others, and of course I stumbled upon this site. And everyday since then, a majority of my free time has been spent on this site and various vendor sites while I compared the different models to decide which one I wanted to try.

Well this morning, thanks to the info provided here, I finally decided and ordered the VaporKing as well as a few goodies to go with it. It should arrive home soon and I'll pick it up the next time I swing by the house. I can hardly wait to get my first vape.

Hi Folks,

I snuck my first cigarette when my girlfriend swiped one of her mom's and met me in the playground... we were 12. I don't remember when I started again, but I DO remember going for 'walks' in the evening and taking out my pack of cigs when I was 14... SO, that would mean steady smoking for almost 35 years. 8-o

I've tried everything to quit off and on over the years too... and hated it when my kids would ask me to quit, and worse yet, get that "totally disgusted" look on their faces when I never did. They grew up, one smokes, one doesn't. Fast forward to now... and a carton of smokes a week....sick of feeling sick, sick of wheezing in bed at night, sick of the COST, sick of feeling like an outcast with having to be outside to smoke. Plus, got actually scared when doc said I may have early emphysema and wants me to get tested.

Never have smoked in the main house, but at the window of the kitchen with a fan blowing out! LOL! Once hubby and I decided to try this, we still sit in there sometimes each morning, vaping away. I still haven't been able to completely put down the analogs... seems that first thing in the morning is the worst for me. The vaping makes me cough more than a cig... but after that, I do much better. Still, I only started this thinking it might help me cut down.

I was reading in here before I ordered. I have to admit, even as sappy as it sounds.. reading all these stories genuinely made my eyes well up. I found myself thinking, "Could it be? could I ACTUALLY have a chance to FINALLY quit????" Usually I won't even set myself up like that mentally or emotionally anymore. Gotta tell you fine folks though, I have cut down already to about 1/5 of what I smoked, and I find that I really love trying the flavors! (originally just wanted most like a real cigarette!)

I can't thank Steve and Mark and Leaford and Val... etc.. enough for all the work they do to help SO many people. This is amazing, freakin' AMAZING! I haven't felt HOPE in so long...DANG!!.... gotta get somethin' outta my eye......

I started smoking when i was 13, quit about nine years ago, went back to college last year and started smoking again. I had been talking about wanting to quit again and my best friend was also looking to quit. I used the patches the first time and had a really hard time with it ... withdrawalls, nightmares about smoking, anger issues ... you name it, i had it. I dreaded trying to quit again.

She came home from work one day and said that a friend of hers was telling her about these vapor for life e-cigs and i was really interested. I mean, this guy is an advocate for smoking .... says the world would be a much calmer place if everyone smoked. So he started using the V4L e-cigs and hasnt touched a regular cigarette in months.

I put in an order for myself and my friend together and finally got it on the 22nd. I was soooo excited! We finished our last pack of "analogs" and started "vaping" on the 23rd. Every now and then ... mostly after i eat, i want the real thing, but it is just like a fleeting thought .... no real withdrawals, no nightmares, and i dont want to rip anyones head off! Im hooked! I love V4L!

I have friends trying it and thinking about getting their own and think that this is a fantastic answer for those that want to quit. I wish the best to everyone that tries this and hope they have the same success i have had so far.

It gets easier, every time you want an analog try vaping instead, try to fill the need after dinner or after a stiff drink with a a vape. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, but it gets better in time.
Don't beat yourself up if you slip, we all have and probably will again, but every analog you don't have is just that much better for you!

Well I am 29 been smoking since I was about 14. I found out I have Marfan's Syndrome when I was 19. One thing with Marfan's is I have to watch out for Aortic Discetion which smoking does not help with. So my buddy RanVapor gave me a V4L Batt and some Carts to try out and all I have to say is I am a complete convert. My Wife and my Kids are more than happy about it.

I just got my first ever e-cig kit from Vapor4Life, yesterday, and I am so excited for it! My story is long and kinda boring, but it's also just beginning!

I first came across a Smoking Everywhere kiosk 2 years ago in Durham while I was visiting a friend. I was instantly intrigued - it looked cool, it was a safe alternative to smoking, and it gave me everything I was looking for with trying to cut back from regulars. Unfortunately, it was also $150 for a starter kit; I wasn't about to shell out that kind of money, even if I had it, only because it was a very new concept, and I've always been extremely skeptical about prototypes and new things like that. But, though I wouldn't buy it then, it was always in the back of my mind ever since.

Flash forward to 2 years later: I was chatting with an online acquaintance, and she started talking about her new e-cigarettes, Vapor4Life. She could not say enough good things about it - how great it tasted, how much it was like cigarettes, how she was breathing better... and of course, that she could smoke inside without any guff from anyone! So, that sparked my interest in e-cigs once again, and started myself on a journey of research and vlogging - I think I spent a full 24 hours straight (no, I didn't sleep. :p) looking at written reviews, different brands' websites, watching vlogs on YouTube... And boy, did it open my eyes. I had no idea that there were so many choices in batteries, flavors, mods.. I was dizzy!

Anyway, after extensive research, I found Vapor4Life to be not only the best rated e-cig around (of the websites that I looked at), and also the best deals, the best and most available flavors... So, I went with them for my first try of an e-cig, ever. And I have not been disappointed, once! I ordered the V4L PCC mini-kit with a regular sized auto battery in gunmetal platinum and a black case. I chose the 'original' Parliament-11mg to try for my first cartos because I usually smoke Parliament Light 100s for my regular analog brand. It arrived three days after shipping out (would have arrived one day earlier, but Sunday is a no-mail day ><). When I opened the package, everything was as I thought it would be, plus a few extra cartos to try out! The only thing that was not as ordered was the LED light - I requested a blue LED with my batt, but they had none in stock. It really wasn't a big deal, but I very much appreciated the handwritten apology on the invoice. It is customer service like this that bumped V4L much higher up on the list. It's been two days vaping instead of smoking, and I see no end in sight! In fact, I'm about to order my second kit, a shorty ultimate kit from V4L as well, which brings me to my only question: I know that V4L has at least yellow, orange and blue LED lights, but what other colors do the LED lights come in from V4L?

Hey all, Buddy here. I am 44 years old and have smoked analogs since I was a teen, smoking at least a pack a day for over 25 years. My wife was diagnosed with cancer in 2005, went through chemo and radiation, and has a clear bill of health now. Needless to say, she quit smoking in 2005. She has constantly asked me to quit, and I have tried to quit before, with no good results. I would quit for a few days, then start back up, mostly due to boredom from the extra time I had on my hands. I had a very hard time with it....until now!!

My wife ordered the V4L Ultimate for me and it arrived in the mail on Monday, 22 February 2010. I am extremely pleased to say I have not touched an analog since that day, it has been 8 days today(a record for me)!! I have actually had a pack of 16 analogs in my coat pocket since my V4L arrived, and I have not touched one of them. I threw that pack of 16 away today, I do not need them anymore. When I feel the need to smoke, I vape. Nothing, I repeat....nothing has worked for me like this has.

Vapor 4 Life, Thank you....Thank You....THANK YOU!! I am finally SMOKE FREE!!!!!
