So what other quality items do you own?

I drank Chevas Regal and Pinot Noir almost exclusively but enjoyed a good beaujolais also. I enjoyed Beluga on occasion but not any more than locally, homemade, tamales. I learned long ago that buying by brand is foolish. Is that why I don't own a Provari? No. I don't like the form factor. I buy, within reason, what I enjoy or suits my needs. Price and/or brand don't matter. I've seen people who look seriously tacky in their designer clothes and people who look really classy buying off the discount, chain-store, rack. If I won the lottery tomorrow would my views change, I doubt it.

I buy quality, not brand. Don't care about the brand, so long as the material is the highest quality and the crafting and finish are superior.

What on earth makes you think that people buy Provari because of the brand? Provape has no brand recognition, other than the reputation the Provari has built on its own from quality and durability.

Nice pre ban goods. We're in the same boat(no pun intended) out here in CA as well with the ban coming new year. Looks like they want our guns and our vape's!!

thanks.. bought it cash and carry before the new law took affect.. sadly now it cant be sold here unless it has a longer flash suppressor or muzzle break to meet the 29" min length.

now all most ARs are banned unless its a hbar.. (yeah dont ask.. same rifles but only difference is the barrel profile.. doh!)

but thats fine. i'll just use my c&r license and start collecting relics.. been looking into lugers.. may get one of those this coming new year.. ;)

I tend to go all out with most of my hobbies...

And back in the day when I raced R/C cars, I was only using the best buggies from Team Associated, best motors from Trinity, best speed controls from Novak... That was another money pit...

Hobbies are dangerous for me too.

I raced for Team Losi in the early 90's. I got on the team after spending over $10K on R/C gear.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
It would if it were good burbon.
I never developed a taste for bourbon. Just don't care for it.

On topic, I forgot to mention that I built my desktop with upper mid to top of the line components and it rocks my world and I can do anything I want with it.

So, vodka and my main computer need to be the best. :D

Let's see, this is gonna get ugly! Now, mind you, all of my stuff is old and was purchased when I could and did work, and most of these things I consider "tools" of sorts.
In the kitchen is a set of Ja Henkel knives. Snap-on and Mac hand and electric testing tools, Milwakee and Dewalt corded tools, Makita cordless tools with Ingersol Rand air tools (they make air tools for everyone else).
Two Seiko three eye watches, both anniversary presents and both over ten years old, Leatherman Xti, I started with an RA high CRI clicky that broke and Henry couldn't fix it when I sent it in so he sent me a new HDS high CRI clicky! A 4seven's Q-mini AA in high CRI and a Fenix E25 that I modded with an XP-G in high CRI (my three favorites).
Colt Delta Elite and Ruger LCR. A Redding single stage set up for handloading, 10mm get's expensive to shoot!
A Sthil 046 that has a big bore kit and has been woods ported, and a Dolmar 5100 that has been woods ported. I still have my Husqvarna 350 that's woods ported as well, but I don't really consider it "high end".
I think that's about it.

I've never heard of any of those. I know who Christopher Reeves was, but I have a feeling he's not who you are talking about.

That could be a Coach bag for all I know. I wouldn't even know Coach bags existed, but one of my friends bought herself one to celebrate a major accomplishment in her life. It was sad to see her excitement diminish when she had to explain to me what it was and why it was significant. That was about 14 years ago, are Coach bags still being made? Are they still chic or can I buy one at Wal Mart?

My husband had a hard time getting me to buy a $40 purse today. I only did it cuz mine is falling apart, and I am banned from buying another one from WalMart. No way I would spend several hundred on a Coach.

...if you bought a Coach bag, you wouldn't have that problem. ;)

I buy quality when I can. Tools, shoes, belts, razors, and luggage, I make sure I own the best I can afford. Ditto for my kitchen knives (Thiers Issard).

Yah...I like quality. Don't even know where to start, I tried to think of something I bought where I didn't care about quality, only price, and I couldn't think of anything. Not necessarily the most expensive, but it's got to be either among the most durable, or most functional for it's type.

Last big thing I bought... ok, we had a big leak under the kitchen sink, which spread behind the cabinets (little teeny leak that went right behind the cabinet and absorbed up the drywall) and grew black mold. So the insurance adjuster came out and paid for mold mitigation, plus cabinets, plus complete countertop replacement for all my countertops (because they wouldn't match anymore if they only replaced the one... but then I didn't match countertops anyway:p). So we spent a bit extra on the countertops. Got Black Marinaci granite waterfall. Black Marinaci is granite that looks like a riverbed... beautiful stuff. Waterfall is the new word for wrapping granite up the sides of the cabinets so it's a granite 'box'. This is my 'waterfall' island with Black Marinaci granite (fisheyed):

The floors are Blue Butterfly granite, and the other countertops are just black granite.
