Standard oven extractor filter for me..... no burnt taste whatsoever. With a hole and groove on the side of the cart to allow air flow into the chamber. Sweeeeeeeeet!
i am new to this, i bought the aquarium stuff..fluval, polishing pads and poly fill. returned it all because theres something just not right with smoking it lol. I have been driping on my rn4081 through the back door and its great, if i am on the go i am using the ptb mod but cut little nothces in the top of the material for more surface area.
also, not really a mod but if anyone out there which probably no one..has an rn4081..get the single hole atomizers, what a difference in vapor and draw!

I don't understand how you are dripping with the 4081....can you give me some detail? Does your battery have a hole in it? Right now using blue foam but would like the direct drip if it can be done with the 4081
You can direct drip with any model, although cartomizers are a different beast.
But to direct drip, just pull off the cartridge.
Then drip two or three drops on the "bridge" of the atomizer.
The "bridge" is that thing that sticks up, and it has a metal mesh on it.
Then put the cartridge back wait 30 seconds maybe, and vape.
That is basically what dripping is.
Now if you have automatic batteries, you have to be extra careful.
Getting too much juice in there and flooding the atomizer can lead to problems.
Basically, you can get juice down in the battery and gum up the switch.
There are ways to try and fix that, but it's better not to do it
And better still to have a manual battery so you don't have to worry about it.

Only mod I've really tried so far but I love it. I've got one brass and one stainless steel going for my 510s. I did them in a complete rush so they do leak a tiny bit but it remains inside the atomizer around the outside of the cart. Hasn't flooded, leaked out of the casing or backwashed at all and I've used them for 4 days now.
The taste is so fresh and so clean, clean.

Where do you guys find the blue foam? Went to Petco couldn't find it. Everything was connected to a plastic frame for filter insertion.
I'm trying the fluval mod for the first time today but I'm not sure im doing it right, I just cut it to size and put it in the 510 cartridge but I'm not getting as many drops in as I did with the standard polyfil. I put a coffee stirrer cut to size in the cart as well but that didnt really help. I think I'm doing something wrong.
The more I use this mod, the more I'm happy with it. It allows you to refill the polyfill completely without taking it out of the cart - vapes really well for about an hour or so per refilling...
