So who else is anticipating the birth of their Chuck in the next few weeks?

No. You got it right. If you want Jeff to supply the adapters, order the 510 and his adapters will let you also use 801s, 901s and cartomizers.

That's what I originally ordered. But I decided that I prefer the 801 atomizer so I switched my order to an 801 connector and said I still wanted the adapters. So Jeff wrote to remind me that the adapters he carries only work on the 510 connector.

My feeling is that I already spent that $5 and that I can use those adapters to try a 901 and a cartomizer on my stock 510 batteries (or on the Screwdriver). I'll definitely buy an 801 to 510 adapter and, if I like either the 901 or cartomizer, I'll buy that adapter too.

ETA: Ladycats reminded me that the possibility of shorts was also a factor but I do prefer the 801 atomizer. It can handle 20+ drops. I feel like I have to refill the 510 constantly. Good flavor. Good draw. But too small.

Poeia, I am confused....I ordered mine as 510's and ordered adaptors. Was there a better way to go? I have mostly 510 atty's but got the adaptors should I want to try cartomizers

Amy I ordered/have the same thing .. the 510 w/adapters ... they all work fine ! There has been some problems with the 510 - 801 causing shorts, not sure how recent these problems are ... but my 510 - 801 is fine :) and I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee my big Chuck !!!

*puff* puff* *poof* (lol been dieing to use that :p )

Thanks.

I just emailed a local guy, has some 'generic' 510's for a decent price so I am gonna get ten of them. Having a heck of a time finding the hv attys and I am getting confused because nhaler has two different types of hv attys (both out of stock) but which ones does one need? Though I am reading that cartomizers are a good way to go at six volts. Don't need an atty for a cartomizer? I'll go read up about them latter. I think I am heading off to bed. Horrid habit I have now....never ever smoked in bed but I've been vaping in bed every night. Got hooked on the lung juice in the evenings (go figure, my second impression was horrid but my third impression became addictive)

Cartomizers are mouthpiece and atomizer combined. I bought 2 5-packs to try. People seem to either love them or hate them but if you love them a big advantage is that you only have to fill them about once a day.

You'll be able to use them with your 901 adapter which has the air channels the cartomizer needs.

I have to say I'm one that doesn't really like them (but I don't hate so....)

They just seem to produce a lot less vapor and are a little harder to pull from.

it depends on what voltage you're gonna run them at and how warm you like your vapor..but as far as the 510 atties go:
at 3.7V=standard joye 510 (2.3Ω) or even better the low resistance 510 (this is currently my favorite option)
at 6.0V= 4.5Ω HV atty or perhaps a standard (not premium) cartomizer, or a knock off (SLB) 510 atty..
at 7.4V= 5.2Ω HV atty..

*oh now there are also 510 cartomizers (only been out for a week, so I don't know alot about them)...but you can use cartomizers without having to use an adapter..

but I highly suggest the low resistance atties on a 3.7 battery (it's like 5V vaping) but is actually safer and less stressful on your batteries than stacking batteries for a 6V or 7.4V option
