Seems like a good idea, but it also seems like it didnt take off so well. What happened? I went to the one about kentucky, the last post was in 2015, besides mine asking about new posts.

I remember once that i had a get together with some people from a yahoo chat room. Not many, 3 or 4 came to my house in ky, a couple were from ky, another from kansas city. It was over a fourth of july and the week prior, which included my birthday. I gotta say, had alcohol not been involved, it could have been kinda awkward. Actually, everybody had an awesome time. I realize this isnt exactly vape related, as i take another hit off my voopoo drag and enjoy my latest diy....
I have ex-inlaws in michigan....lolYeah, I don't mind talking about vaping to folks outside of Michigan.
Sure, it facilitates meeting up in person, but who does that anymore?

I went to a restaurant meet here in Lexington, KY many years ago. There was a decent turnout...20 or so folks. As well, a convention was held here...150 people(?)...under threat of being shut down by local officials. Thanks to our hosts for putting that on.
I’ve met up with a few people from online groups, not vape related. One is still a good friend and I see her a couple times a year.
Some of the crochet members do meet ups, but I’m really not into any in person stuff with them. I’m only a member so I can steal patterns and find out about yarn sales.
Wouldn’t mind meeting some vapers from here though.

I've actually done some internet meetups when the internet was all new and shiny and stuff.
So, maybe it's the vaping or maybe it's the WHATEVER, I mean ever since Eharmony and etc.., I have kind of felt that vape meetups have been, you know, tainted.
Course, I'm also a bit of a misanthrope so there's that, but who knows why and etc. I think travel to a meetup of vape or even a vape expo would be fun.... mentally. Then, I think "meh."
Of course I have just taken one of my "Anna should be sedated" pills and I wasn't flying so hot today right out of the gate, so there is that.
Also, I'm not FROM Michigan but you could get me to travel there via the route of my cold, dead hands, and even then I might be desperate enough to knock the coffin lid askew and yell "Let me out!"
No offense to Michigan either, as I'm fairly sure entirely Tucson is COMPLETELY worse. But I'm already here, so entropy and etc. LOL
