Speaking of titanium: how about titanium doors for starters? Bodies would be challenging but doors wouldn't be to hard. I wonder if I sent a sheet to Rob he would mill a few SL Ti doors? Any thoughts? Send me a pm on the specs you would need and I will order it.
titanium would be awesome, brass and copper would be really heavy. I always used to think that I would really like a heavy solid stainless steel bottom feeder, in my head it just seemed that it would be so much "better" than aluminum. well, I went and built a stainless steel bottom feeder and even though it came out beautiful and winded up being exactly the way I thought I wanted it, in the end when it was all finished I vaped it a few times and now it just sits, it's just waaaay too heavy, I mean it's good as a weapon yeah, but as a vape it's just way to heavy and cumbersome. it'll be great to look at but that's about it, hell even the woodvils feel better than the aluminum because they're a bit lighter, I think the prettiness would wear off quick lugging that thing around every day
The all copper grand SL/LP would be a house mod no doubt, I don't think it would do well in a shirt pocket or even worse athletic shorts pocket. I wonder how copper cladding would do. Works well on ground rods.
According to this link copper has triple the density of aluminum. Even at triple the weight I still want one.
